This is a rather small but cosy restaurant. The decorations are quite pleasing. Simple but tempting menu. We got advice from the wonderful staff. Decided upon starters only and all was delicious. Excellent vine. Ended with dessert and coffee. In all a perfect evening and highly recommended.

Just had a really rude and unwelcoming experience here. Went in to watch the Arsenal match in Europa League. Was the only couple in whole place and what happened next beggars belief: The barmaid changed the channel to an Icelandic news channel literally half way through the match and plonked herself down to watch.No apology or even a "would you mind?"We finished our drinks and left. No goodbye. Awful.I am not accepting this is normal in Iceland or a cultural thing. It isn't. The fact is the barmaid was simply rude and unwelcoming.A shame as it has resulted in a 1* review. The management need to take note and employ decent staff.Hi, thank you for taking the time to review our place.I have spoken with the barmaid in question and she remembers this incident. She thought you weren't watching the match and now realizes she should have asked you if you were before changing the channel and feels sorry about this in hindsight.
