Discover something new every time you visit. Dedicated to showcasing the past, present and future of aviation, The Proud Bird is a modern, re-imagined food bazaar and events center offering breathtaking panoramic views of the runways at one of the busiest
We stopped at this food court type venue with a large bar on a Friday evening at 7:30 pm. Even though there was a couple of large parties going on at that time, we found ample parking (free) and table seating near the bar or outside patio. We ordered the tri-tip and half chicken from Bludsoâs BBQ menu. The extraâs we ordered were minestrone soup, salad, apple cobbler and chocolate brownie. Tastes were OK but I expected more expertly cooked BBQ meat from a Food Network promoted restaurant. Venue is interesting with historical aviation displays and airplanes.Hello travel4CFThank you so much for such a wonderful review! It appears you got to try our Dine LA dinner menu on your last visit..we are so excited to be part of this event and glad you got to enjoy some of the food items. We are a local mom and pop bar & grill. Loved by our regulars and travelers alike. We serve American bistro style food that is all locally sourced. Open for breakfast daily. 7am Monday-Friday 8am Weekends.
I finally came in to use my restaurant.com certificate at this dive bar restaurant next LAX airport. The waitress was super nice and offered the lunch specials which were $2 sliders, I ordered four different types off the menu and Melody fries. The sliders were very good except one burger was under cooked but the fries were a bit greasy but still good. The restroom gets one star because it's beat up and smells, oh well what do you expect from a dive bar setting.

I've been to serveral Rock & Brews but several years ago, this was my first. They have improved the facility quite a bit but the food is as consistent as I remembered. Excellent pizza, Pretzels are enormous, beer always cold and delicious.
