This is a wonderful traditional Dutch pub / restaurant. The warm and friendly atmosphere hits you as you walk in. Friendly staff are welcoming. The table cloth was carpet! Weird but quaint. Decent selection from the menu. I had the steak. Very tasty. Overall a very enjoyable evening. If you want to know what a great Dutch restaurant for locals is like, this is it. Let's hope the tourists don't find it.

This lovely situated restaurant breathes the atmosphere of Texel. It comes back a lot of things, like the Texel beer, menu, the decorations, the location, etc.The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Looking at the quality of the food it's more than ok, it's very good. It's my second time now and the third is comming up. Celebrating a party even that can arranged and if weather permits you can sit outsite near the water enjoying some nice views.RECOMMENDABLE!!!
Where to eat Asian food in Huizen: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This road side bar/cafe/outdoor restaurant located at the crossroads of the town centre of Laren, a leafy village 25 kms East of Amsterdam, is in the heart of the Gooiland. Notwithstanding its attraction as a home to thousands of commuters into other neighbouring cities, it attracts people from all around Netherlands hoping to oogle at the pretty women, fancy cars and others trolling the streets in search of a good bargain. This oasis in the middle of town (de Brink) has a stop light intersection in the road which cost the city half a million Euros and causes massive traffic jams at noon and in the evenings after 4:00. Get there early or enjoy a slow cruise through the centre of town staring at all the guests at the Bone paard as they stare back at you in the funeral procession going by.
Weâve been to many snack bars around Holland and by far Snackland has the best spareribs. Theyâre delicious and very tender. The meat slides of the bone like butter and the extra thick layer of marinade in the box they come in are perfect for dipping in the fries.
