Good service for the size of group we had . Large group and waitress held it together. Everyone got what they ordered. Waitress even made Sweet Tea for one in the group....they don't normally serve Sweet Tea....

The food served at Chef Johnna's at Desoto Club has a fresh, healthful, American theme with southern touches and Caribbean flare. Chef Johnna now occupies the newly renovated, mid-century modern DeSoto Club, which was erected in 1972.
We had a lovely dinner here on Tuesday evening. Apparently a new chef called Gary has taken over and all our dinners were excellent. We all had Cesar salad to start followed by the salmon which was excellent with garlic mash and vegetables, my mother enjoyed the tagliatelle shrimp carbonara and someone else had the Pork Shank which he commented was the best meal he had ever had in the Village! And he has lived here 10 years - so congratulations Gary! We had an excellent bottle of white wine. Canât recall what it was called but it was excellent. All in all a wonderful evening, great company and great food.

"Village Pub" sounds like a place to eat Lunch. Not really. Walked into a very dark interior with strings of colored bulbs. Smoke odor nearly knocked me down. No patrons. So I decided to ask to look @ a menu & then leave quickly. "May I see a Lunch menu?"Sour Woman behind bar:: "We're cleaning the kitchen.""Oh, I'll come back another time.""Kitchen will be down till @ least tomorrow.""OK, Thank you.""It will probably be next week."Now I know where all the Smokers go . . .
