Snowy evening lots of places closed so thought to give this place a try. Glad I did! The mac and cheese, the small size was still too much for one person but it was so good. I think this is the dish that has secured their reputation.

If you are looking for the local feel this is your place. Staff is very friendly. Food and drinks are great. The menu is diverse and features something for everyone. No short cuts. Fresh whole ingredients. There is entertainment of many sorts and food and drink specials every day. The only place in Hanover Square with outdoor seating. According to the hotel, many travelers are directed to this spot.

My wife loves this place and wanted to go for mothers day. We called a head and got right In. That's the good news. After we got seated it was all down hill. It took a long time to get drinks ordered, it took longer to get them. Sitting there I noticed that there were a lot of empty tables that were dirty and I'm further exam I noticed a lot of people complaining about their food and their service. We had figured it would be busy due to mothers day but not this bad. Not only did it take a long time to get drinks but it took forever to get food ordered and to the table. The server did I apologize about the delay and gave us free chips and salsa as he waited for our food to come. We ordered cheeseburgers and my wife wanted hers to be well done we also orders the loaded nacho appetizer. We order all came together on my waist cheeseburger was rare. I could not find our waitress so I went to a kitchen to ask for a new burger which they had no problem taking her Burger unfortunately we never received her new burger until it was time to leave. I had to remind them of my wife's Burger. This was unfortunate because my wife loves Chili's. Will try again hopefully better result. Stopped by Hanover's while visiting my niece, who lives in Horseheads. She has lived in Horseheads for three years and said Hanover's is one of her favorite places. Her business, Pure Balance Therapeutic Massage, is just down the street, so she visits often. We had an appetizer of hot chicken wings, and a club wrap and fish sandwich. The service and food were both very good. It has a nice, laid back atmosphere and everyone is friendly.We will definitely return when we are in the Horseheads area again!
