Reviews on Pub food in Hebden Bridge, England, United Kingdom. This pleasingly peculiar market town is rife with old mills and flapjack-like "upstairs-downstairs" houses. Annual festivals, theatrical productions and parades pump the locals (and tourists) with life. Don’t miss the Hardcastle Crags or hiking along the gorgeous Pennine Way, and be sure to have a stroll along the inspirational Rochdale Canal.

I recently visited the Hare and Hounds after being promised a traditional (and delicious) Yorkshire pie. I was not disappointed! I had the chicken and bacon pie, and my friend had the cheese and onion pie. Both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and the bechamel sauce was creamy and full of flavour. I'm told by my friend that the cheese and onion pie was equally tasty. Coupled with a pint and a spectacular view over the rolling hills, this was a pie to remember! I'd highly recommend this cosy pub. Very friendly and welcoming staff, too. Thanks so much for your great review, it makes all the hard work worth while, I will pass this on to our team.

The White Lion is a traditional coaching inn; with exposed timber and masonry, an abundance of comfortable corners to hide in, and always a warm and friendly atmosphere. Set on a riverside location in central Hebden Bridge, the inn has always been well kn
We came in for a couple of drinks in the bar and decided to try some of the small plates. All 6 (split between 4, plus 2 sides) were fantastic, in particular - the lamb bon bons! Would highly recommend for anybody wanting some great, affordable food in a lovely informal atmosphere.Hello & thank you for leaving such a lovely review! Weâre so pleased you chose to find with us & even more so that you enjoyed your food enough to leave us such a positive review. This place is a great find. Homely comforts and a very warm welcome from the staff and locals alike. Comfortable room and lovely traditional meal. If you want new, modern and boutique then this is not the place for you. Itâs a friendly traditional inn with old style comforts. The staff couldnât do enough for you. Very motorbike friendly. Would definitely recommend and would visit again. Thanks very much , hope to see you again .

Vegan and vegetarian food, influenced by Persian cuisine. Fully licensed, free WiFi, dogs allowed too. Magnificent building, cosy place, well priced and delicious food.
If you are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free than Greens is the place to go! If not, it is not the place for you!!!!!There is loads of choice for "veggies" with lots of variety! The food altogether was... average. But to say that EVERYTHING was homemade/fresh it was great!!! Everything was organic! The cafe is very environmentally considerate!Overall, definitely go for a coffee/tea/hot chocolate etc... or for a family meal....IF A VEGGIE!!!

Vocation Brewery's first brewery tap in the beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. Serving 4 cask, 16 keg and an abundance of delicious Mexican inspired dishes.
Our first visit was on a Saturday at lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! It wasn't overly busy, the staff were very helpful and the food was served relatively quickly. Loved the small tacos, especially the Baja fish, really excellent. The beer, as always, perfect. It's a great spot for lunch with friends and family, including the dog! Will definitely visit again. If there was a downside, it would be the shared toilets, but that really didn't take away from a great visit.Good Afternoon,Thank you so very much for taking the time to write us such a lovely review! We are pleased to hear you have enjoyed your time with us and really hope to see you again soon.Thank you,Leanne Parkin,General Manager,Vocation & Co. Hebden Bridge.

Set in the beautiful Cragg Valley, this historic pub snuggles into it's environment between woods and two streams. Great countryside location.
Sat outside on the benches as it was a bit stuffy inside, the tables needed a good clean and smoking should be limited to certain tables. Otherwise it was fun as there were characterful chickens roaming about and interfering in visiting people's conversations. This was the best bit - plus the nice surrounding trees. Drinks were nothing to shout about, non alcoholic choices shameful with concentrated diluted juices poured from cheap branded cartons. But the food was great and service friendly. Plenty of meat piled high with roast potato and veg to the side and more veg in a self serve tureen. The gravy was out of this world plus the Yorkshire pudding huge! We had to share this with the hens who loved it and thanked us by hopping onto the bench and sitting next to us. The desert was nice also with pear, meringue and raspberries. Overall a nice experience and I will return again if the weather is nice so I can sit outside again.

we were at Hebden Bridge for a 4 night break in august and ate twice at Stubbing wharf. They had a great range of ales and it was fantastic to sit outside in the sunshine. The food was of a high quality and the steak was a particular highlight. would recommend and hope to return at some point.

The Shoulder of Mutton is a Traditional pub in mytholmroyd. We offer home cooked food that's great value. Two open fire places. Sky sport. Bar area restaurant area. Child and dog friendly. Car park. Riverside beer garden. Live music every sat.
We have eaten here many times. Today the pork was dry and tough, despite the nice presentation. Staff apologised and offered more gravy! Priced at the high end of pub roasts, I expected a little better.Hi and thank you for your review. We have never had any complaints about our roasts and certainly any complaints about price in fact all our customers say itâs great value for money. Can I confirm your review is for The Shoulder Of Mutton in Mytholmroyd and not another business. All our staff check back on all meals served to make sure all our customers are happy with their meal. If you were unhappy with your meal you should have said when our staff checked and we would have put it right. We hope you come back again as you have said you been a few times. I am also surprised when you said you have eaten a few times before but you say our roasts are pricey !! I wouldnât go to eat some where several times if I thought it was expensive !!!!!
