I was here twice. First time just bumped into. Second came all the way from paris Also in Paris you find good food, ofcourse, But here is , but the atmosphere and the peaceful romantic environment worth doing this way.i highly recommend as entry the tuna .fish with wasaby,main course the argentian steak. And for desert amazing chocolate rolls. Nice treatment very worm and kind. A bit change of the normal "french" we all know. Go go goThanks a lot And see you soon

On a cold day in Chantilly and disappointment that the Chateau was closed to visitors in January (renovation), I walked back to the Station. Hoped to find somewhere for a snack and a drink. As after 14.00, two restaurants turned me away. The only place open was L'Etrier. It is small, simply furnished and basically serves drinks at the bar. But it has a Menu du Jour, about to be taken down as I arrived. I had its veal with rice and some red wine. Perfectly acceptable in taste and price (under â¬25). Reasonable loo. Not somewhere to search out, but ok if choice limited.

An eclectic menu of Asian/French style cuisine. It was unclear how the 'menu' worked. Initially we asked for a glass of wine each, but ended with a bottle. Never mind!Food quality was good.

Le Regent has recently taken a major step to enhance the dining experience: Alex and Vanessa have just finished their new dining room. It is completely separate from the bar/horse racing part of the place. Very tastefully decorated and with modern trendy but comfortable furniture. The choice of wine has also been extended.At lunch they offer always a "formule" with 1, 2 or 3 dishes for a very reasonable price.The serving staff, Fanny and Anais are both very friendly and professional.I can't wait to go back in September, since I' ve had 3 excellent lunches!!

Day#160 of 194 Around the World Trip we found this GEM of a restaurant!We took the train for a day trip from Paris, but found most of the city closed due to the G7 Summit of Finance Ministers.We had just waited 30 minutes with rude servers at L'etrier and finally got up and left. Down the street we were VERY warmly welcomed, the service was divine and the food wonderful! HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Recently open, this bistro is a good discovery. L'Ardoise is a perfect lunch place. The decor is spartan, modern, with good, quick service and a varied menu. I tried the carpaccio, served with fries and salad from the regular menu but there is also a set menu with three different starters and entrees. The terrace is roomy for more clement weather and I also appreciated the free parking just across the street. A definite yes for a return visit!
