A local informed me that this place was a bit up-market and had fabulous food so we tried it. With just a few exceptions the menu was bog standard pub/bistro type food. I ordered a fillet steak but what I got was NOT fillet steak as I know it. The flavour was reasonable but there was some very noticeable gristle too. And in typical pub style almost all meals left the kitchen with a huge pile of chips and a tong full of the same standard salad served to everyone. My wife ordered the Moroccan Curry and Rice. It had a very nice flavour but was cold when it hit the table. Not impressed. Both of us left half of our meal and refused the offered take-away container too,

This is known as O'Shea's Royal Hotel right in the heart of the town centre. Luckily it was open Easter Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. Plenty of choice on the menu, order given to friendly staff at the counter, and served promptly. Reasonably priced.

We recently dined at Coral-Le. Les the owner is so welcoming and attentive. His staff also do him proud with attention to detail, fast and friendly service and particularly delightful to our children. Do yourself a favor and order the seafood, so fresh and tasty, not what you'd expect in a country town.
