Pleasant, friendly and attentive staff and delightful weather helped make our dinner excellent. We enjoyed everything that was put on the table--juicy burger with a side garden salad, chicken tacos with fruit and Cuban sandwich accompanied by fries. We stopped by when in the area and will certainly make a point of returning.

Been here three times, all for lunch/late lunch. Very popular. Will head back for an evening when music is on. Prices are a little on the high side but pretty much in line with north shore Chicago. On the other hand the portions are generous and unless you're famished you might consider splitting an order with a friend/family member.

Delightful tavern, has been in business for decades, unchanging ambience. Well worth reviewing.
Lived here forty years and only my second visit and wifeâs first..... drive by hundreds of times a year but never stop until today! The food was surprisingly good for lunch, especially the Reuben, and the liver wurst sandwiches. Really, really surprised and happy. The cheeseburger was at best ok and tater tots more novel than tasty. The DAB on tap was excellent as was discovering an original mural over the bar which ran its length.... covered in smoke and dirt over the decades but there!Paper plates and disgusting floor wonât allow five stars but itâs a âreal hootâ of a joint to visit! Weâre happy we did!

Homemade cheese sticks caught our eye as an appetizer, as usually cheese sticks are all the same. Waitress assured us they are house made. These truly were better than the usual, by far. We also lived the steak filet quesadilla. Lots of TVs showing Sunday football; good service, fair prices. Was not a busy night, so no reservation needed today, but suggest you make one for popular times. Street parking was available. Happy to come back again for more.

I have been to the Yard House several times and the food is good and consistent. This past Friday we must have been in a shift change because our waitress seemed to disappear mid-meal.We kept looking for her so we could receive our check but 10 minutes went by and no waitress. We did wave down someone else and asked for the check. Our waitress must have left and a new waitress or waiter never acknowledged themselves.I might also mention we were provided a portable "buzzer" letting us know when our table would be ready, but it never beeped and people were getting tables so I provided our name, they checked the monitor and it appeared the buzzer device was never activated. My name did not appear either on the reservation monitor, yet when I arrived, they acknowledged the reservation. Go figure.

I travel a lot and review many places in TripAdvisor. This place is amazing. I donât rave often. Their manager, Lou, suggested pizza and burgers when I arrived but I wanted something a little heartier. If their pizza and burgers were recommended, they may be heaven. Because their ribs were the greatest Iâve had anywhere. Their steak was fantastic. The fish tacos were great too. The ribs, though, were out of this world. They fall literally off the bone. I was not in a great mood because of a missed connection that left me stranded in Chicago. But this place was so good, Iâm almost ok with the detour and lost day. It is an incredible place and itâs highly recommended from a curmudgeon.
