My husband and I stopped and had a delicious dinner after traveling on the road for 11+ hours to get to Fuquay. We were pleasantly surprised. Our meals were the four cheese macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders, and a steak dinner --both were delicious /topped off with a couple cold beers- it was a great meal and great service -thank you so much!
My first visit to Oaklyn Springs was this past 4th of July. We host a Brew-A-Que every year and pick a brewery each year to hang with our friends the night before the big party at our house. Oaklyn Springs was the perfect spot for this year. It's such a chill place. All of the kids enjoyed running around and playing with the large jinga blocks. I had a great cider. There was a band that started up a little later in the back room, which was entertaining. There's a sushi place and a pizza place just around the corner that you can bring takeout in from or have delivered. Awesome place!

Met some friends for another weekend lunch. The plan was almost empty, which was a bit surprising. We ordered and the food came quickly, but service suffered after that. I had to find the waitress to refill our soda, but she was pleasant. A few more customers trickled in and the afternoon games were on the many TVs. Pool tables are available as well. Nice spot for lunch.

Vicious Fishes Tap & Kitchen is a gastropub providing adventurous, eclectic pub fare borne from our wood fired grill. We feature a variety of snacks, small plates and larger platters that are meant for sharing, so bring a friend. Our beers are integral in
Accommodating and friendly staff. Manager table touches that you would expect at a fine dining establishment. Small menu but that is best if you can execute - and they do: perfectly cooked, well seasoned scallops, tender-spicy curry chicken with a slaw to balance the heat and Brussels Sprouts with plenty of bacon and flavor. We donât drink beer (which had tempting options) but we did have wine - not many choices but enough to get by. We will definitely try different dishes on our next visit as well some of the interesting specialty cocktails. Donât go if you want cheap - they prove that you get what you pay for. A must try.

When we want to grab a "dinner out" we head to Wingin it Great food, friendly nice staff. Love trivia on Thursday with DJ Ray -- its a blast. Really a great hometown favorite - we consider ourselves regulars. Great for singles couples and we bring our family with young kids frequently. Nice separation from bar and dining room.

There are so many dishes which are good here. The Shrimp and grits, the sliders (each one a different meat!) and the hand-cut fries are just a few of the things I enjoy about this place. Dessert is pretty special as well. If you have not tried this - give it a whirl... you will not regret it!

We had a party of 8 to celebrate my dad's birthday on a Sunday for a noon lunch. We were sat quickly and a waitress promptly came to take our drink order. She was rudely interrupted by another waitress saying our table was hers and not the current waitress'. The second waitress even went to the hostess stand to tattle on the first waitress. It was very obvious she did this and made our whole table feel awkward. When all was said and done with, we kept the first waitress. Once our food order was placed, we waited OVER AN HOUR for our food to arrive. At one point, I looked around the restaurant to see only one of about 20 tables actually eating. All of the other tables were also waiting on food. When our food finally came, they tried to take it to 3 other tables before ours. The food was pretty good, and that is why I rate this experience as poor despite some of the food being room temperature. When it came time for the checks, the waitress asked how to split the bill, and we told her. She seemed to understand, but when she brought the "check" it was all on one receipt. Then she asked me to circle who/what would be on each of the three checks. Ridiculous! The whole experience was disappointing for such a staple in Fuquay Varina.
