We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.

If your looking for a quiet more upscale place that won't break the budget this is for you! Great service. Food fantastic. Great wine selection! Plenty of places to park. In summer sit outside! Since we were staying in Freilassing, we needed a place to get dinner easily and cheaply. Schmuggler Cafe was within walking distance for us. Very friendly waitstaff made us feel right at home. We had pizzas, beer and pasta. Everything was delicious and fresh. We went back today for lunch. The sandwiches are so big we took away half to eat later. My husband enjoyed his beer (lowenbrau) so much that he bought the glass! Great place!

Die Weisse is a quintessential biergarten located in a quiet section of Salzburg. We were told that it is primarily frequented by locals; but, there were many tourists there on the night that we visited. They have both indoor and outdoor seating in a casual setting. We selected some of the local specialties and were very pleased with our selections. This restaurant is worth seeking out.
