I had a great experience while visiting Trails to Ales Brewery. First off, the atmosphere is exactly what I would want from a brewery. Located on the main street in a great little town, they did a great job with the style and vibe of the brewery. There's a good mix of table seating and a large bar with plenty of seating. The mood is good inside and it looks like someone put thought into creating a style that is inviting. The food was excellent, we had wood-fired pizza and a cheesesteak hoagie. The hoagie was a little on the small side for the price but still very good. There was a nice selection of beers to choose from and I was pleased with all the one I tried in my flight. This was the best brewery I've stumbled onto in a while. I'll be sure to stop here again when we are back in the area.

Moved my daughter into Clarion University Venango, Oil City. In her welcome bag was a card for 15% off a dinner, so we went to try out the Ale House. Huge menu to choose from. Beautiful salad bar. That even had a pasta salad, broccoli salad with cheese and bacon. The salad dressing were tasty and there was bunch of crunchy toppings. My dinner was good, but a little disappointed. Ordered the Cajun chicken and shrimp. Not spicy at all and there was only one shrimp cut into pieces. The sides were good, portions were plenty. Would I go again probably, I would try something else next time.

Got into town after 3:00 and our breakfast was at 8. We were HUNGRY! Right smack in the middle of town. Outdoor seating, covered patio seating, and indoor seating. Beautifully appointed restaurant both visually and from a culinary viewpoint. Reasonably priced. Attentive wait staff. As good as it gets!
Very inexpensive appetizers...and they are great. Rueben balls, good...Goose Fries, fantastic (enough for 2). Other menu items look so good, but can't try them all. Here on a mission, from Florida, not knowing when I'll come back, but will miss those fries.
