Average food, good service and large portions. Inside and outside dining. A very casual place to go to with great holiday decorations. Very family friendly.

Popcorn with siracha oil is addictive but be warned - it is oily. We had the cauliflower bites which were good and not too oily. I got the quinoa-black bean burger - also good but crumbles easily and the bun was a little stale. Fries served in a tiny fry basket were so good. Lots of beer selections. Casual. Others enjoyed their meals.
Hostess friendly and extremely helpful.Wait staff attentive and friendlyMeals served in a timely manner and very goodwe enjoyed the evening

Party of 6 Sunday afternoon. 2 other tables in the dining room and service was horrible, waitress was slow and forgetful. Onion Rings were very good. Chicken sandwich and chicken was tuff. Burrito was to spicy. Salsa no flavor. Steak on sandwich good roll chewy. Stuffed clams to much breading. Poppers ok. Vodka pasta with chicken good. Being from Florida we don't pay for soda refills so was suprised to pay $12 for 3 people to have soda it would have been nice if the waitress told us. Glad we only visit twice a year. Will never go here again.

My friend and I meet every few months for lunch and this time we chose Krogh's in Sparta New Jersey. Krogh's is a cozy pub style restaurant with a full bar in the Lake Mohawk section of Sparta. In addition to cocktails, wine and beer, Krogh's brews their own beer with many varieties on tap. We both ordered Krogh's brewed beer. She ordered the Mounds Stout and I the Grunney's Belgian Dubbel. Both were refreshing and delicious. For lunch we ordered a blackened catfish over rice and the Welsh Rarebit chicken sandwich. The catfish came with a side salad. It was moist and cooked perfectly. I have not seen a Welsh Rarebit on a menu in years. You could order it with chicken, as I did, or with a burger. The sauce was rich and delicious. We shared a decadent coffee royale mud pie for dessert. For a good meal in a warm cozy pub with great beers on tap, give Krogh's a try.Hello,Thank you very much for the review of Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub. My name is Jason Fuchs. We started with the mushroom appetizer as well as the mussels followed by Reuben sandwiches and fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Our server Andrew was courteous and attentive, bringing our food quickly, but not rushing us so we could enjoy our company. Definitely will stop in again.
