The only benefit to this restaurant is the location if you happen to be staying at the hotel. As one might expect at a hotel restaurant, it is overpriced. What one wouldn't expect is hot food to be served luke warm. We went for dinner and the food was not good and seemed to be leftover and reheated a little. The wait staff is nice, however.

I went to Craft Bar on a Monday evening to take advantage of the âBurger Nightâ specials and was not disappointed. The restaurant was almost full, but I was seated immediately at a high-top table. My server, Leslie was AMAZING. She has an impressive knowledge of the Hugh Beer Selection and walked me through my burger options. I ordered the âCraft Bar Burgerâ and was not disappointed. It was perfectly cooked, and the quality of the ingredients shown through in the taste! The accompanying house cut fries and spicy ketchup were a perfect pair with my burger. The beer I had as recommended, was excellent. Thanks to Leslie for making this a great experience! I will be back!Thank you for sharing your experience with us on TripAdvisor! I'll be sure to forward your compliments to the Management team and Leslie :) We look forward to serving you again soon! Cheers!

Riptides Grill & Tiki Bar is a great restaurant in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, located in the super stylish lobby of the new Holiday Inn Resort hotel. Riptides offers a Gulf front indoor dining room, lobby cocktail bar, outdoor patio and beach view poolsi
During our 4 day stay at HI, we ate every breakfast at Riptides and several lunches and dinners. Everyone in our group was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of breakfast daily. Menu prices were reasonable too. The breakfast items were delicious! My favorites were the sliders (ham especially) and biscuits and gravy. The buffet was great too. Lots to choose from. The lunch and dinner was hit or miss, just like any restaurant. Some items were not available (watermelon lump crab salad) or not as advertised (beer cheese soup with pretzel nuggets was just soup with pretzel twists on the side). Other items just weren't great (mushy crab cakes, greasy quesadillas). But we loved the nachos and shrimp poboys, the mai tais and frozen strawberry margaritas!! Above all, the staff at Riptides is the friendliest I have encountered in all my travels- especially those at breakfast.

I loved this place. Go and ask for Phillip. He was incredible and kept us laughing. I ordered grilled shrimp and my husband ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi. They were both excellent choices. Phillip also suggested the shrimp rangoons, which I was skeptical about but they were creamy, spicy, and sweet all at the same time. I would go back just for those! We sat outside beside the water and it was the perfect ambiance for our date.

Open air bar with great happy hour specials. On Tuesday's they have free bbq sliders for military and great discounts for everyone else. Wednesday is $.50 wing night for everyone. Great prices to try multiple flavors. Plus drink specials and live music all night long. Itâs also kid friendly for the early part of the evening.

Dock on the Island is Okaloosa Island's newest restaurant. A combination of great food and great waterfront view make this the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.
Visited twice and enjoyed both trips. Fish tacos were great, as were the decent portion of wings. However, the prices were a bit high for the amount/quality of the food. No draft beer? Recommend visiting when 2-4-1 coupons are available.

We stopped into Fokker's Pub specifically for their German food. The location is not far from the beach hotels. We were greeted right away and asked to seat ourselves (it was early for dinner and not super busy at the time). The waitress was friendly and quick. We had the Jaeger schnitzel and the schnitzel with a sunny side egg. The meat was tender and each meal was pretty good overall. The atmosphere is very casual. It was also family friendly so young children were welcomed - it is not like a bar - more like a laid back restaurant with TVs and very casual. Thanks Fokker's!
