We've eaten here several times but never again. Under new management- what a shame. Menu is the same quality is not! My partner had been drooling for one of their burgers. He ordered the onion burger but they were out of onion rollsSo he asked for a sesame seed hamburger roll instead. I saw he ate half and pushed it away, I was shocked - he said the cooked onions were dripping with fat and the bottom of the bun was soaked with oil. Ugh. I ordered the nachos without jalapeños and theyWere great but huge portion for appetizer and at $12 could have done with half for less $. But they wereGround beef, onions uncooked, lettuce and earned the 2 rating. The white Zinfandel did not it was awful and bitter. A full band was setting up at 6 and mercifully we leftBefore they started playing at 7! A little early even for a Friday night. Two couples walked in separately from the Days inn next door- looked and left. Hope future reviews will show they've improved.

I like pizza. Really like pizza. Do you like pizza? If so, you need to check out Scott VanDuzer's new place - The Crafted Pie at Sailfish Brewery, near the ocean in Fort Pierce. Tuesday night and my kids wanted pizza. They like pizza as well. And who am I to complain? Eating out meant I didn't need to clean up at home. Besides, we were already out and driving around the Fort Pierce beach area. A sure menu favorite - "The Works" at $18.99 includes pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, and red onions. Modifying my pizza a bit as each of my 3 kids have a different taste, I requested that a few slices have pepperoni only. Pizza was delivered just as ordered. For drinks, it was ice water for all. I'm a cheap date and would rather have my kids drink water than soda. French fries at $3.99 and 20 jumbo chicken wings at $18.99 rounded out our order. Fries were fresh and hot - the wings were of the jumbo variety, deep fried and tossed in a honey sauce. They were served with blue cheese for additional dipping. The taste wasn't bad. Clean establishment just a couple of blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, this was our first time visiting The Crafted Pie at Sailfish Brewery. Friendly and polite staff with plenty of parking. No complaints on the food or service - we will definitely return when in the area. William E. Lewis Jr.Vero Beach, Florida

Based on recent reviews my wife and I stopped into this trendy establishment for the Wednesday “Date Night” dinner. This is a great deal. $25 gets you one appetizer , two entrees and one large dessert from a special menu. There is lots of ambiance here, the staff is friendly and the country music was perfect. The meals were substantive and served up quickly and hot. But... and here’s the rub... They were laced with so much salt we could not eat more than a few bites. I am sixty five years old and I have never had so much salt on any food anywhere that I have ever eaten. It was grossly excessive. This is unfortunate because the meals looked very appetizing and were excited to dig in only to find that we just couldn’t eat them. So, if you like salt, this is a great spot. If you don’t, just keep driving...

Really have to hand it to the owners and managers here to decide to limit this restaurant (at all hours) to over 21 and no pets. Such a nice surprise to have this atmosphere with no uncontrolled children running around, no toddlers having tantrums, and no screaming babies. Plus, even though this is an outdoor restaurant, no wandering "precious pets" peeing everywhere either. Thanks guys for giving us an adult place to go. The fish of my fish and chips (was supposedly grouper) was "eh"..and too heavily breaded, but the french fries (which were very plentiful) were the best I have ever had..really good. Not impressed with the half glass of wine served in a small plastic cup at 10.00. Too pricey for that..this is not fine dining. Hubs had the fish tacos, very good, but limited fish in them...also had those excellent french fries. Had no problem with no table service and was able to select a nice table along the water. We could have had full service if we sat at the bar, but chose to "pick up" our meal to enjoy at one of the tables instead.

My family of 8 arrived at 6:15 and had our name on the list to be seated. We were told the wait time would be a half hour. That was fine. 20 minutes later a group of 7 arrived (friends of the owner). After about an hour and a half wait with a 2, 4 and 5 year old in our party, a table finally freed up. The hostess cleared it and set it up for 8. The owner immediately removed one place setting and seated her friends, the party of 7. Imagine our frustration. My family had never been there before and I was hoping for a great experience for them. Needless to say, we will never return. There plenty of other restaurants in the Ft. Pierce area with excellent service and better food.

This resto is in the perfect location, but the food wasn't that great, The firecracker shrimp appetizer was over breaded and fried-- almost burned. I couldn't even tell that there was a shrimp in there. But the garlic parm fries were delicious! The beachside chicken entree was just so-so. The bacon in it was hard and overdone. Wasn't a flavorful dish.

We have been to 2nd Street Bistro many many times and had great service and great food. Not this time! We went for Father’s Day. First the hostess forgot us and when I told her she was seating people that came after us she looked at me like I was clueless. Once she seated us, she did apologize. We waited a while and our waiter Patrick came and took our drink order. We had waited so long we already knew what we wanted. Our food took forever! Then we got it and we didn’t have any silverware. I told the lady that dropped off the food and she said she would get some and I never saw her again. After about ten minutes Patrick came over and asked how everything was and we told him we needed silverware. He said “that would help”. He came back with 2 sets and said he would have to look for more as there were 4 of us. So my husband just used a knife from mine and my son used his hands. Finally he brought two more sets. We never saw him again. I looked back and he’s hanging out in a cubby area talking with other staff. I couldn’t believe it! We asked a bus boy to please get our check and some boxes. He brought back boxes. Finally the bartender had to go get Patrick so we could check out. We were there over 2 hours! Our food was delicious but definitely NOT worth the wait. 2nd Street Bistro definitely needs a change in staff. Really disappointing as we use to love going there.
