Reviews on Pub food in Fleetwood, England, United Kingdom. Fleetwood is a town and civil parish within the Wyre district of Lancashire, England, lying at the northwest corner of the Fylde. It had a population of 25,939 people at the 2011 census. The site of the town has been continuously inhabited since the Middle Ages. Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur. He commissioned the distinguished Victorian architect Decimus Burton to design a number of substantial civic buildings, including two lighthouses. Hesketh-Fleetwood's transport terminus schemes failed to materialise. The town expanded greatly in the first half of the 20th century with the growth of the UK fishing industry, and passenger ferries to the Isle of Man to become a deep-sea fishing port.

Ten of us came here to celebrate Fatherâs Day, place was empty which was a pleasant surprise as I thought it may of been busy. Ordered what was thought to be Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi came no explanation as to that is what they have instead of coke, may of been advantageous to inform people they didnât have coke Menu options were very sparse, I choose the signature burger with fries asked for the burger plain with fries, well done. What came was a totally plain burger nothing on not even cheese, strange a signature burger doesnât have cheese and i was served skin on fries, yet again this wasnât advertised in the menu if Iâd of known Iâd of asked for different chips. The cost of the burger for a plain burger was £12 a little on the steep side. The service was hit and miss, cant say it was due to being busy the staff tried but bad training was evident which isnât there fault. Congratulations on the puddings I never had one myself but the remaining people in the party commented how nice they were. Perhaps a return visit when the other menu is available may be in order.A more in depth menu description may save people the misunderstanding of ordering something they other wise wouldnât.

Lovely pub/restaurant... Pity about the slow service.... Food was OK... Sister had the garlic mushrooms and said they were fab... I had a club sandwich and the chicken was overcooked and there was a distinct lack of cheese and bacon... Chips were good though.... Overall I wasn't impressed and won't be back

Me and the fiance had the 2 course lunch here on Tuesday, was welcomed almost instantly by a lovely waitress and asked if we wanted drinks whilst looking at the menus.I had the Sirlion with pepper sauce, cooked perfectly!Fiance had cod, chips and mushy peas which she also said was perfect, crispy batter like a proper chippy fish should be.Overall I would give 9/10 I would give 10 but theirs always room for improvement. RECOMMENDED!

Now, I thought I'd visit the Bourne Arms. So I looked at their website to check out their menus, opening times etc. No menus on the site and no opening times - a link takes you to some New York barista site and the rest of the website appears to be in ?Latin? How on earth us a prospective customer supposed to know whether they want to visit or not? If they are that careless about attracting new customers I'm not sure I'd trust the food........Morning.We have had a brand new web site developed because the old one wasn't fit for purpose and we have had some teething problems like you do get with everything. I am not web designer so I handed it over a person I thought would be capable. This now has been sorted and we are meeting this week to complete it. Our food is excellent our beers are coming through brand new lines and are well kept. Based on this review you decided that a problem with our website was enough to detract you. Well my friend I suggest you speak to some one who lived before the internet and ask them how they got on with life... we just used to walk into pubs and try it. If we liked it we would tell our friends that was social media back in the day when all pubs were busy. The reason why pubs are closing a great rate of knotts is because of social media and the fools that use it as a weapon. Just saying. Regards The Landlord

Here on a Sunday with friends. As with many seaside pubs, it can have its moments...see reviews. Well, for us it was good. Yep a few blokes on the beer. The food/restaurant was good. Excellent fish and scampi. Sunday roast. The beef was a lttle disappointing and was fine. Great Veg. Good pud. Great staff. A old, traditional Pub. And met Syd Littles. Ha, Ha

Visiting grandchildren in cleveleys I had some time free and went to the oldest pub in Fleetwood, the Steamer. My Grandad must have gone there decades ago when he was a trawler captain. Lively karaoke in the bar. And a nice. Separate restaurant Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was excellent and the food was great, really lovely. During the meal I was surprised by the restaurants owner, Syd Little, appearing and making a point of talking to everyone. When Syd realised I was from Bristol we had a chat about Eddie, and wishing him very good health.Lovely to meet and chat to someone who entertained and gave me so much pleasure over many years, and the food was lovely. Iâd recommend the restaurant to anyone living in or visiting Fleetwood
