Grote portie. Meesterstukje! All over the world mosselen gegeten tot aan green lips in NZ. Overvloed van mosselen, garnalen en rivierkreeftjes in romige, beetje tomatige saus. Kleine portie was ook ruim voldoende geweest Beetje pech met luidruchtige barbezoekers aan de toog... Maar ja, is ook eetcafé.

Bistro 'Kuuscht' In a restored barn, Sylvie and Gust Rausch share their passion for homemade bread, served with cheese and ham platter.
I was planning to visit an authentic restaurant in a Luxembourg country side.PRO:⢠It looked really nice from the outside - fully renovated old house with large windows. Interior was also very nice and cozy - owners contracted a good interior designer.⢠Staff is very pleasing and caring - they look like a family owning and managing small restaurant.CONTRA:⢠I did not know that you can call a place serving only TWO items - THE RESTAURANT. I believe it is a big STRETCH for a place where you select between a jambon assortie (18â¬) and cheese assortie (19â¬). Really! Menu consisted of two cold items only. I tried the first one - nothing special. Was okâish.⢠The waiter told me that the Restaurant specializes in home made bread (Kuuscht). It was ok, BUT cold! Weird sensation...CONCLUSION:If they stay with 2 assorties and cold bread, it is not a place to visit. Unless, you want to sit in a cosy place with charming waiters... BUT without hot meals!!!!Dear Andreys808,We continuously want to improve and we are thankful for your feedback.Indeed, Kuuscht is a bistro that offers homemade bread from our wood-fired oven, served with cheese or ham plates. We are sorry that you expected our bistro to serve hot dishes. We will do our best to adjust our communication efforts in order to avoid misunderstandings on this point.Best regards,Paul

Café du Gymnase seit 20 Jahren "HotSpot" in Diekirch.
Great little establishment. I was originally stopping on for Wifi and the town of Diekirich wound up being a central location for my travels in this region of Luxembourg. Apon entering I was greated with a big welcoming smile from the bar tender, Luc. He was informative about the area and very helpful helping find information... As well as finding beer upon beer; a very helpful guy! Side note the wind was in the correct direction to smell the brewing of the local beer, Diekirich, in the mash stage. On one of my return trips I tried the food and the burgers were delicious, I know I didn't eat local fare. They also have different events and parties! I hope to return for one or more of these. Two thumbs up. Thanks Luc.
Good selection of drinks and main courses. Big portion of starter and main courses. Starter, Nacho was quite salty. Nice sitting outside at sunset.
