We stopped into the Breakaway Sports Pub to get dinner before the Everblades Hockey game. It was very crowded, but eventually we found three seats at the end of the bar. I ordered a meatball sub and French fries. The sub came out hot but it was impossible to eat as a sub. It had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The fries were ok. I just expected more for the cost of this meal. The waitress/bartender was very was very busy and did not have the time to give proper service. I will eat somewhere else before a game in the future.

Although you have several choices for joining friends to eat and enjoy a few drinks, we found the lighter fare at Mangroves Bar to be our favorite choice.

This was my second time here and I was meeting my friends for lunch. It was 2 for 1 margaritas, Sunday, busy. My friends had been there for a few moments, already ordered drinks, they were staring at the bar where their drinks were, a few feet from us. We sat and sat, I didn't have anything in front of me for almost ten minutes and we watched as our server checked on her other tables and poured refills - it seemed she forgot that she had put the drink order in? Like we seriously only had a basket of chips, salsa and queso dip, no waters, no drinks for a good 15 minutes. Finally another server brought our drinks over and we asked if she could get our server to come over. We wanted to order our food and get some more chips, waters, etc. She finally came over after I made eye contact with her while she was at one of her other tables. We finally get our order in and are relaxed, when she comes up to us - like when the food should have come out - and said she didn't put or order in the kitchen and also threw away the slip she had written our order on. She's very apologetic, said she wasn't having a great day and offers "anything to make us happy". We are chill people, so we were like, no big deal, we give her our order again, get another round of drinks. So, at this point, we've been here for an hour. No manager comes over to apologize. Long story short, we finally get our food. My friend's rice & beans on the fajitas came out cold, get sent back, she said the rice tasted burnt. Carne Asada meat was good on fajitas, tacos were good. I would have liked if she made sure we wanted flour or corn tortillas. But I guess we were lucky to get any service that day. To top it all off, one member of my party ordered take out to bring home. Manager(?) came out with unboxed food, but we had asked for it to go. Server comes back over like 10minutes later and says our togo food should be coming out soon. We told her about the food that got brought earlier and wasn't that our food? it should only have taken a minute to throw the food in a box. Nope, that wasn't even our food that was brought out originally, because our ticket is just being pulled off the line now. It was just the cherry on the sundae. I don't know if they were understaffed or not trained properly for busy days, I know they are new. But it seemed like our server forgot that she even had our table numerous times. Everyone has bad days, but this review probably could have been much different if she had gotten a manager involved once she realized she forgot the order. Likewise a manager should have had eyes on the situation, i.e. drinks sitting up at the bar forever. Or come back an apologized once she realized the food that got brought out to us wasn't my friend's take out order, and that we would be waiting a few more minutes. Communicate with your guests even when you screw up. Everyone makes mistakes, own up to them, we were fine with the girl telling us she was having a bad day, but she knows things went wrong for the whole visit. Take the initiative to set it right, comp some drinks without having to be asked, send a manager over to smooth things over. Just saying. I'll probably go back because I like their food, it is an interesting twist on Mexican food. Last time I went the Menu Margaritas were good, the 2 for 1 is just house margaritas.

Went for Happy Hour and an early dinner with another couple. Very good prices for Happy Hour drinks. Draft beers were $2.50. Large menu with typical pub food. Fish and chips, chicken wings, burgers and a grilled fish sandwich were good and portions were generous.

Enjoy traditional Mexican food and beach vibes in the heart of Estero, Florida.
Iâm from California and Iâm extremely picky about my Mexican food. Iâve struggled to find Mexican food that I like here in Southwest FL. Iâve tried every Mexican restaurant in and around Fort Myers and this one in Estero is the very best one. The food has fantastic flavor! The ambiance isnât the best, but I come for the food!!! Their chicken enchiladas are fantastic! Also love their salsa too!

My wife and I visited this location on June 8. First time here and when we walked in were not sure whether we were to wait to be seated or to seat ourselves. Not one staff member greeted us as they were too busy schmoozing at the bar with who were no doubt regulars. We both noticed a few dirty paper towels on the floor but decided to give it a try only after we asked another patron who told us it was up to seat ourselves. We ordered an mozzarella sticks to share and received no cutlery or side plates with the sticks so it was either eat them in one bite or just hold it until the next bite.My wife ordered crab cakes and when they came they were so burnt they looked like a couple of hockey pucks. My wife took a tiny taste of one and said they were terrible. At least she received cutlery with her entree, something I didnât get. We called the waiter over and explained her meal was inedible. He offered to get her something else so she would sit there while I eat and I would then sit and watch her eat. We said we would pay for the app and our iced teas which we did and left.We are visiting Estero but a family member has a home here and they were interested in what we thought of this place. Needless to say they will not be customers. While we aim and often hit amazing guest experiences, sometimes we miss the mark. We are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your experience. We would be happy to refund your meal, please email us at [email protected] with your name and we will reverse your charges.

2 couples out for a bite. My naked wings were outstanding. Quesadilla was too, poke bowl and a decent burger. Service was great. So happy that this location has become very consistent. One thing I pointed out was the calories on the wings. They have a 10 or 15 wing portion but the 15 wing portion is only 200 calories more than 10. Someone screwed up the math

Enjoy gorgeous fountain and lake views from the screened porch of this Florida inspired seafood restaurant. Jutting out over the water, Tarpon Bay has a beach cottage vibe, where colorful lanterns keep watch over each table and a palette of soft turquoise
My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner here . The food and service was great . the whole snapper was excellent ! My wife had the paella it was very good also with unique flavorsunlike a traditional paella .Thanks Robert! The ambiance at the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion, with lakeside dining on the screened porch. After dinner cocktails by the fire on the patio are also popular. We look forward to welcoming you back.
