I'd given up thinking about going out for a beer in my frequent visits to Ruislip until I noticed this micropub. Friendly staff and up to 6 cask ales priced around £4.40/pint. I recommend drinking several halves of the range! Water and glasses on each table is a nice touch. This really is an oasis in a beer desert.

In an idyllic setting, just a stone's throw from Eastcote cricket pitch, The Case is Altered lies at the heart of the community and provides the perfect location for meeting family, friends and colleagues. The beautifully restored 17th Century pub and adj
Drank and ate on a sunny Monday evening. Been before numerous times and in recent times had a better experience than before. Sadly new manager and the slippery slope of couldnât give a .... has started. A joke of a menu for evening service,I had the free range chicken with fries and watercress with aioli. It was something I would have cooked for my children after school in the 90âs. My wifeâs food looked good in a craft bowl/plate but mono flavoured and lacked any moisture. Two mains and a very average bottle of wine £44. Plus the couple of pints earlier an expensive lack lustre experience. Also noticeable all areas are getting a little Shabby and not cared for, toilet area not great, cheaper hand wash and cream and finally the line cleaning regime of the beer would appear in taste and odour as not as regular as it once was. Itâs a shame as this pub was developing into a decent gastro place with lovely touches but as already said, new manager new ways and Iâm afraid not in the right direction.Thank you for visiting The Case is Altered. I would like to thank you for taking your time sharing your experience with us. It is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to maintain and indeed, where necessary, improve the service that we provide to our valued guests. Arrived at 7.30 last night, food finally arrived at 9pm. When it did the burgers were cold and chips were solid. Not expecting gourmet cuisine but how difficult is it to serve a hot burger and chips! You really let yourselves down. 2 out of the 8 of us were happy with their meals. Will not be back

With no planning we decided on a family lunch at the White Horse on Harrow on the Hill; 8 adults and two babies.Nice friendly welcome and were shown to our table, good service - offered drinks immediately and no rush to get us fed which was nice. The food on offer was a good range of pub fare, and we had a range of chice from the menu - burgers to a sunday roast. The food arrived all at the same time - which is pretty unusual! well presented, well cooked and piping hot.Service was excellent and the staff were really friendly - the babies slept through lunch. Great meal out.

This newly refurbished pub, based in the heart of Harrow is proving to be a delight to all those that visit. This family friendly pub, designed with simplistic retro deco, portraying an ambient atmosphere, offering a great range of wines, prosecco, beers,
After hearing a lot of good things about the Kingsfield Arms my wife and I were very much looking forward to our visit. The good news is, they do get a couple of things right. Nice ambience and very good service. However, what should be the star of the show was sadly underwhelming. The food was just so ordinary. The mixed vegetable bhaji starter was an enormous intimidating plateful of deep fried vegetables that looked and tasted like it was pre-packed from Iceland. Iâm sure that canât be the case but thatâs what it looked and tasted like. The sauces of the mains tasted generic and pre-prepared and the Naan Bread tasted out of a packet.Whilst the food was pleasant enough it just wasnât authentic freshly cooked Indian. I appreciate that this type of Indian Restaurant is becoming more popular as it becomes increasingly difficult to hire the best Indian chefs who are sadly a dying breed but it just wasnât for me and I was surprised by its very impressive ratings. Maybe I just didnât get it!

Following a business meeting in the area I decided to book dinner for my clients. I am so pleased I chose The White Bear. There was a warm greeting the moment we entered the building and this hospitality extended through the entire evening.Itâs rare to find a venue which exceeds expectation and this certainly did.The atmosphere was just perfect. From the great food and service through the great range of beers , wines and a lovely log fire.My clients and I had a great evening and if I am ever in the area again I will definitely go back. Thanks to all the staff for the hard work and making us feel very much at home.Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We are pleased to hear that you and your clients had an enjoyable experiance and we hope to see you again in the near future. All the best, David
