We were a group of 7 - parents of kids who were in the Jeux du Quebec, and went to 200 Brock for an early dinner on Saturday between games. Without a reservation, we were fortunate to have been there before it was full for dinner (very busy at peak hours).Without exception, each of us were impressed with every aspect of the experience! The food, decor, ambiance, service - unforced excellence, in perfect balance. All of the staff seemed to be a class act, and worked seemlessly together, providing great food and drink with friendly service.I had a cream of onion soup - unique and tasty, and poutine with peppers and chicken - great gravy and flavourful curd. Other choices around the table were equally well-recieved by the other diners. The bad part was having to choose ... sooo many great sounding options on the menu! Food prices were reasonable, and an especially great value for the quality and quanity. Bar selections were varied and top-shelf. Drinks were a little more spendy relative to the food, but not overly. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert (I was a bit full anyway :)). I will leave time and room when I go again though! This is a small room, with a dark and warm character. Plenty of raw wood, and other natural material. Food is served with unconvential presentation, and even the metal menu folder provides an interesting detail. Love the fireplace mantle filled with Veuve bottles etc.If you are in the area, eat here! Without question, I will drive the 1.5hrs from Montreal to go again!

Stopped over for lunch. Food was good, service a little slow but OK. I had a great General Taekwondo at a reasonable price. One fault the Cage au Sport (any where) has, it is always pushing the large beer format. Despite the fact that I always ask for a small, they keep bringing the large format (then they get upset if you refuse it) They seem to want to push sales that way.....

Me and my 2 sisters went for all you can eat shrimp Thursday. We all chose a different flavor since there were 3 to choose from. I chose the boss sauce which was a very nice tomato based sauce and went well with the shrimp. The garlic shrimp was garlicky on itself and had a nice garlic butter cup on the side. The buffalo shrimps were the worst as they were heavily breaded with something that tasted like old plain donuts. The buffalo sauce helped make it edible. For dessert we had a chocolate lava cake type dessert which I don't recall the exact name but was very good and very dark chocolatey. Yummy. Service was excellent. I probably will go again and perhaps try the ribs or steaks.

Arrived at noon and place was filling up fast. Service was attentive and quick. She had the small Caesar Salad and I had the Montreal Smoked Meat on rye with fries and pickle. Both dishes were flavourful and just right portion-wise. With one diet Coke the bill came to $25.00cad tips taxes included. Recommended.
