A real ale pub, with seven cask ale pumps with guest ales. Authentic Thai Food served from our upstairs kitchen which accommodates our Thai Restaurant, Thai At The Salutation Pub.
Without a shadow of a doubt one of my favourite pubs in Doncaster is The Salutation Pub,a pub I've been visiting for many years.I love the look of this pub,a beautiful exterior, the interior is even better, timbered ceilings, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling South Parade. My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to the races at Doncaster and headed into here for a quick pint. This pub was packed with a great atmosphere, after a quick study of the real ales on offer we both decided to have a pint of Timothy Taylor's " landlord " these real ales were served in excellent condition,we luckily managed to get a table were we just chilled out, enjoyed our real ales and took in the great pub we were in.My real ale was outstanding, a hoppy, well balanced pale ale style real ale bursting with taste ,very easy to drink, a real ale style both myself and my twin brother Stephen really enjoy. We really enjoyed our real ales in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Salutation Pub is easy to locate on South Parade .Opening hours are;Monday to Thursday, Open from Midday. Friday & Saturday, Open from 11 30am.Sunday, Open from Midday. A fabulous pub,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area .

Whatever the occasion, we are the perfect place to visit! Our menu is always packed to the brim with an array of delicious dishes. Fancy a burger? We have a great range of them⦠and they all come with quality brioche buns. Craving some classic pub food? W
Although we didn't eat tonight the food on previous occasions has been very good. What makes the place however is the warm and friendly welcome offered by the staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has a great time. The pub has a separate dining area and the bar has a wide selection of drinks - truly something for everyone. Tonight, a special mention for the effervescent Jade who looked after my 85 year old mother - thank you !! I would recommend this pub to all those who are looking for a warm cosy pub with good drinks and great service.Thank you so much for your positive comments about our pub, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your visit. Have a great day!

We were a group of 19 having Sunday lunch for my husbands birthday. The service was superb to say we were such a large group, nothing too much trouble. They even allowed us to take our own birthday cake too. The prices are reasonable, food excellent and service fantastic, we will definitely be back again. Thanks to all the staff , we had a great time.

A basic sort of pub in a nice spot. A limited but good choice of beers and lagers, worth going for the choice of sharing platters - British, Med, Eastern European, a cheese board, a couple of others. Watched other customers tucking in and it all looked delicious. Spent a pleasurable couple of hours there.
