We could tell you a very long story, but we won't⦠Just come over and experience! We do not have a complicated menu and we do not ask for bizarre-high prices. Okay, we brew our own 'Twents' beer. And yes, we do have a Butchershop where we dry-age our own

The restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere with excellent very customer centered service. Easy to access with adequate parking facilities. The food was somewhat mixed. Some of the BBQ meet was great, the steak on the mixed grill was nothing special. What was a disappointment is that what appealed to us was the aged beef which they were completely out of.

We always enjoy the Appel. Very good friendly and personal service. The food is not special but very tasty and in normal portions. Also they try their best to grant special wishes like gluten and vegetarian. Also the lunch I highly recommend.

Needed to grab a late meal and all the higher end restaurants in the area were closed for food given the hour. This place seemed to be more of a bar than a restaurant and this was evidenced by the food. Nearly everything on the menu was deep fried although the food was tasty and very reasonably priced. The portions were enormous (neither of us finished our plate) and the service was efficient and friendly.
