I met with some out-of-town coworkers at the end of the work day. The beer selection is outstanding, and the quality of our choices was very good. There was enough space on a weekday for us to have a productive business discussion while also enjoyed some good beer. We'll be bringing more visitors back in the future.

Steak cooked perfectly although my husband says NOT SO MUCH. Mine was evenly cooked, consistent end to end. Better than almosr all steak places in the area. Nothing else impressed us. Waitress was awful and immediately brought to our attention we were over dressed and if we thought this was a NICE PLACE we were sadly mistaken. She acted like she was at waffle house, only more rude. Salad? Dish of lettuce with a single grape tomato. Good lord. For a $25.95 dinner I expected MUCH better. MUCH!!! One of the few places we will NEVER go back to. Inside was reminiscent of a cheeseburger diner. Do not take out of town guests here or you will embarass yourself.

Casual, friendly neighborhood tavern with a variety of sandwiches and salads. The food is farm-fresh and locally acquired, prepared fresh daily. There is cozy inside seating, a comfortable patio and a pool table upstairs. We have live music on weekends, w
What an interesting and cool place to visit. Didn't know they had an outside until I just saw the pictures on this site. Our server was very attentive and on top of keeping us well hydrated. Burgers and chicken were very tasty and came out nice and hot.

Toxic Brew Co is Dayton's first brewery to open in 52 years. We produce a variety of craft beers, but we have a preference for high-gravity and Belgian inspired creations.
If you're a craft beer fan, this establishment deserves a visit--in part for good beer, good decor, and good pricing, in part because they were at the forefront of getting Ohio laws revised to permit brewpubs like this one. I regret that I wasn't able to get around to tasting their wares sooner. My wife and I decided to share a couple of four-beer tasting flights. We mostly went for the amber varieties that she likes, especially the IPAs, but had Red Brixx and Gem City Ruby in the assortment. She and I have somewhat different tastes in beer, so if you asked which was the favorite you'd get different answers--which is a good thing, it indicates that their selection will offer something for everyone. We agreed that these beers were meticulously produced with none of the unpleasant aftertaste that sometimes comes with a craft beer. The only downside was that the bartender seemed a little impatient with us. Maybe he was having a day?I intend to return when opportunity knocks and then to indulge in some full pints of my favorites.

This is a small pub in St Anne's district. The cocktail was good, steakburger ok, bun very greasy and soggy. Salty chips served as a side. I wouldn't have minded the food price if it was yummy. Deal breaker - a party of about 8 people very loud in a small area made it difficult to have a conversation. I believe, the server or manager should have asked them to be mindful of the other customers. Will not return.

Rusty Bucket is a casual American restaurant and tavern, a gathering place where people come to share laughter, smiles, and great conversation over food that makes everyone happy. Satisfying and familiar, the menu is classic American fare, thoughtfully pr
The closest bar to the Hilton, and well worth taking your life in your hands to cross the road. Beer choice will keep you entertained whilst eating the huge portions of great food. Charming smiling waitresses and very helpful bar staff make the rusty bucket experience worth traveling for. Sports screens showing American sports to a great selection of rock tunes at a sensible volume get a thumbs up from me.

Loved the feel of this museum-like brewery and restaurant. Rustic but clean. Everything is done historically accurate. We had a catered lunch for our large group and it was pretty good. Might get a little loud with the high ceilings. But I'd come back.

Went on a Wednesday night at around 7:00 pm for dinner, no drinks. Things initially went well. Even though service was slow at the start, the server communicated with us effectively, and we didn't feel abandoned/overlooked. When the food arrived, a very very loud annoying music trivia guy started up his gig. Five tables participated in his game, most tables did not and just tried to block him out. It sort of ruined the meal for us. It was too late to move outside (where we could have at least have avoided the noise.) The food was mediocre at best. My dad's pasta dish for the price was way, way overpriced. And the server, who was quite nice, got involved in another table's complaint, the service really deteriorated from that point on. My advice: inform customers when they arrive that there will be a trivia music night event -- if for some reason, the restaurant feels a need to keep up that side show. Won't be back.

Our group of six gals had a great dining experience at Jimmie's. Our waitress, Sarah, who usually is a bartender, was superb. She suggested drink and entree items, chatted with us and got all our orders correct. The food was delicious and very hot when it arrived at our table. Get there early if possible or else you may have a wait. But whatever the wait time, it is well worth it for great food and a fun dining experience.
