Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Cuenca. Writers and poets have long flourished in arts-oriented Cuenca, the country's third-largest city and the capital of the Azuay province. Cafes and galleries are tucked among the narrow cobblestone streets. The main plaza hosts both the old cathedral, started in 1557, the year the city was founded, and the blue-domed Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, dating to 1885. Locally made Panama hats get top billing at the markets, with centrally located Casa de la Mujer a shopping standout.

GOLDEN PRAGUE PUB has spacious and comfortable spaces, located in the Alfonso Cordero between Manuel J. Calle and José Peralta (in front of Supermaxi El Vergel). We invite you to taste our traditional beers as well as to delight with specialties of Czech
I go here fairly often, usually for lunch. The daily menu is usually good, though not exceptional. A la carts items can be pricey for Cuenca, but are typically better. Predictably good European food.

The pub offers 12 taps of craft beer brewed on site, not all taps may be full at all times depending on demand. We have IPA, hefeweizen, Stout, Lager, Pale Ale, Wit, Fruit Beer and many other types depending on when you visit. If you love craft beer, come
First of all the IPA was great and we drank too much of it. We were there on slider night. The good news was that the order of two sliders with excellent French fries were delicious. The bad news was that they were so delicious, we had to order a second helping.Thank you for the great review. We're so glad you had a good time. Looking forward to your next visit!

We have visited Wunderbar several times. We like sitting outside and have cocktails or a beer...maybe an appetizer. They have a cute garden setting outside. On this visit we ate dinner inside the restaurant and were a little underwhelmed with the food. I ordered a German dish, my wife a veggie sandwich and my son had a German dish too.

We were looking for a nice bar in Cuenca. And we found it. All other places we have been, were really empty, but this was full, nevertheless both times we quickly got a table. It was a very nice athmosphere for drinks and also the food looked nice. People are mixed, locals and tourists, but I would say more tourists. Prices were fine. Staff was both times very friendly.
