Craigavon (/kreɪˈɡævən/ kray-GAV-ən; Irish: Creag Abhann) is a planned settlement in northern County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Its construction began in 1965 and it was named after Northern Ireland's first Prime Minister: James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be the heart of a new linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan was abandoned and less than half of the proposed work was done. Among locals today, "Craigavon" refers to the area between the two towns. It is built beside two artificial lakes and is made up of a large residential area (Brownlow), a second smaller one (Mandeville), plus a central area (Highfield) that includes a substantial shopping centre, a courthouse and the district council headquarters. The lakes, a wildlife haven, are surrounded by woodland with walking trails. There is also a watersports centre, petting zoo, golf course and ski slope in the area. In most of Craigavon, motor vehicles are completely separated from pedestrians, and roundabouts are used extensively.

Sally's has grown from a two- roomed pub to a sprawling restaurant with lots if inviting nooks and crannies with bagfuls of charm and character. A leisurely pint, a dinner for two or a quiet coffee on the sofa Sally McNally's has it all. Whatever you are
Had a gorgeous meal here with my family, as they recommended it being here before, we where made to feel very welcome from the time we came in till we left, very attentive, place is lovely, cosy and warm, Food was beautiful from Quantity to the Quality of the food we enjoyed everything served to us, We would highly recommend eating here as you wont be disappointed :)
Great friendly service and I have been for lunch and dinner to the bistro. The food is cooked well and the presentation exceeds what you would expect! The burgers for lunch are excellent.. especially to cure a hangover!! The evening menu is good with a good choice for everyone. Kid friendly also..

Recently had lunch and was super! The bar is under renovation but instead of closing they have adapted upstairs into a temporary restaurant. The menu choose is great, the cost excellent. Great choice of specials. Cajun Sea bass with crushed potatoes and green beans, amazing and only £9!Iâve had poorer meals at twice the price on occasions. Definitely worth a visit for lunch.

Established since December 1997. We offer a traditional themed bar, restaurant, takeaway and off-licence.
My partner and I went to our local for a midweek dinner. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered crispy chicken wings and mushrooms in a crust with garlic dip to start. Tasty... but the chicken wings were anything but crispy. We waited for our starter to be cleared but, what we got was our main course served in the manner of fast food... so fast, that there was no pause between courses! Our starter crockery and cutlery was still on the table! We were out for a well earned dinner. It would have been nice to have a chat between courses, but clearly we were deemed to be in a sprint, rather than a leisurely dinner! Weâd both ordered fillet steak for our main, cooked medium rare. They were lovely pieces of meat but, medium rare they were not! The lady serving came back to ask if everything was ok, and I informed her that both steaks were over cooked. She took both meals back - phew! We got a chance to have a conversation! The meals were brought out again. She stood to check everything was ok and, low and behold, they were exactly the same! She offered to take them back again but, I told her we had waited long enough, and as we were hungry, weâd eat them. When I went to pay, they apologised and knocked our starters and drinks off the bill. Good gesture but, as the mains were the problem, and the most expensive aspect of the bill, in hindsight, I shouldâve asked for that to be knocked off. Iâm sorry, but if a client asks for something, doesnât get it and sends it back, surely a chef worth their salt would make sure the next one was spot on.... just saying!

Went here for a Boxing Day meal with the family. Had a starter and main course, which where both amazing! Definitely recommend the hot wings! The main course was delicious, the chicken and sauce were a brilliant combination! The staff were even more helpful with bringing a few round of drinks to our table without having to move. Will definitely be back!

Hubby and I called into Pretty Mary's on our way to catch the Liverpool Ferry. Like other reviewers we found the place quite dated and, because Royal Ascot was on, there was some serious betting going on. Don't let that put you off, because we both had one of the tastiest meals, well cooked food and with good service and reasonably priced. We'd definitely return again if we were passing. We both visited the toilets on our way out and, again, they were both spotlessly clean.
