Late lunch in an empty restaurant. Not serving in the outside seating area. That should have warned us. Very friendly server. Boring menu in nicely designed period restaurant. We did not have adult beverages maybe that would have helped. Four people, four GOOD tasting yet uninspired meals. It is fall and the "seasoned travelers" are out since the kids are back in school. We deserve much better than the "B" team treatment.

This was at least third time we have been, but alas, I forget to write review. Truly a mixed bag. Restaurant is clean, spacious, etc, with full bar and several seasonal beers (along with regulars) on tap. Menu very extensive with large selection of pasta dishes, along with numerous styles of pizzas. On the good side is the size of the portions. Several in party had the appetizers and they were huge! Could easily been had in place of dinner portion. I ordered bruschetta and it was quite odd, for it looked as if toppings were placed on a small loaf of garlic bread (which was cold). Unlike any other I've had in other Italian joints. Dinner was trio sampler: lasagna, choice of pasta, and beef ravioli. Was generous portion, but red sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste. The bad part, as others have noted, was the glacial pace at which the staff seemed to operate. Almost 3 hours and the place was nearly empty! Such long! Waitress was a sweet young gal, so not sure if it was her or inept kitchen staff.
