Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Conshohocken. Conshohocken (/ˌkɒnʃəˈhɒkən/ kon-shə-HOK-ən; Lenape: Kanshihakink) is a borough on the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in suburban Philadelphia. Historically a large mill town and industrial and manufacturing center, after the decline of industry in recent years Conshohocken has developed into a center of riverfront commercial and residential development. In the regional slang, it is sometimes referred to by the colloquial nickname Conshy (/ˈkɒnʃi/ KON-shee). The name "Conshohocken" comes from the Unami language, from either Kanshi'hak'ing, meaning "Elegant-ground- place", or, more likely, Chottschinschu'hak'ing, which means "Big-trough-ground-place" or "Large-bowl-ground-place", referring to the big bend in the Tulpe'hanna (Turtle River, or modern Schuylkill River).

We were looking for a quick dinner out. I've had celiac for 12 years and I knew that I could rely on Uno's for a gluten-free menu...including pizza. In the past, their gluten-free pizza was flat. It was ok, but not great. Their new version is fantastic and it reminds me of the regular Uno's pizza (when I was able to eat it). It's like a deep dish pie and it has a slightly crunchy crust. I highly recommend this new gluten-free version. My wife had the Chicken Spinnacola (sp?), which is always good.
ok, I'll admit I'm not much of a drinker at all, but you know how it goes, when you socialize with friends, sometimes you have to go where the gang hangs out. This is one of those 'micro-brew' establishments growing in popularity and therefore existence all over the country (Stowe, VT is building a bus depot in the city to initiate brew tours- how pathetic). While it is simply water and barley fermented with yeast and flavored with hops, rather than make it in your own cellar most would rather pay some place to fiddle with it for them then slap a fancy name and price tag on it. I've only sampled a few of the offerings here, which range from pales to stouts, exotic flavors and otherwise with varying percent ABV (alcohol by volume), but I've never been truly impressed. However, it gets busy on some nights and there's always a line to order so I guess that means something too. There's a deficit of food from which to order, so until TA comes up with another category to review (like simply 'Bar' instead of restaurant) this will have to do. Its a bit on the pricey side, but the average patron doesn't know the diff between what's offered and Pabst BR imho.

Have been to Guppy's many times (I live in Conshy), each time being a great time to have some drinks with friends. Prices are cheap, they have some craft brews on tap (mostly local), and a food/drink special every day of the week. It can get quite crowded on the weekends and happy hour, but not too uncomfortable. Great for watching a game, or dancing on a saturday night. Don't expect much from the decor or layout, but the staff is hard working and drinks come out fast. Pub food is what you'd expect, burgers are excellent and the sweet fries are great too.

Service was good. Staff very friendly. The fresh well made guacamole was served with perfectly salted warm Tostitos which I think were homemade. We had panko encrusted strip steak which was excellent. That was served with sautéed spinach and some potato wedges. My carbonara was deeply rich and satisfying. A little piece of toast or something would have been nice though. The waiter did say the noodles were homemade. My mates had a local beer which they enjoyed. I like the island bar. It would be fun to go with friends and hang out there. The menu was intriguing and as I passed several tables, I was wishing that I had ordered all their dishes as well (a good sign). A nice little neighborhood restaurant.

Went here for dinner with my daughter while visiting Villanova. The decor and atmosphere are fitting for its name. Feels like your on a boat. Food was ok. Itâs like seafood-themed pub food. Definitely a bit heavy for me, but tasted good. Service was very good though. Very friendly, quick service.

Excellent service, seated right away for our reservation Appetizer with avocado, mango and crab with chip-very good,. Only challenge was very loud and a bit difficult to hear over bar crowd, Would recommend, entres were good, especially the black bean burger and pulled pork sandwich. Manager was resonsive when one entre was not quite right.

FWOT consistently provides excellence in their food and caring service. They've always gone the extra mile which is why this is my first choice in restaurants considering my Mom and her dietary concerns. Most recently, an employee brought Mom a room temperature bottle of water because the water in the cases was too cold, for her. I wish the staff could hear her rave about the quality of the food. I look forward to bringing her back "for the first time" again. Thank you FWOT!!! You'll always have my business.

The menu is ambitious pasta to barbecue. It is pleasant to sit outside, as we did. The food sounded great from the menu but it just was a miss. I had the burger and the description was great but I thought it was dry and not cooked as I like. My friend had a salad which was average. The portions were adequate. There is a large bar inside and it appears to have multiple levels but we did not explore. The server was good. I would try again maybe an off day.But not a destination to drive to

Lucky Dog Gastropub ReviewWent on a Saturday evening for date night. The bar and dining area are nicely separated and the dining space was warmly decorated and not too brightly lit. In addition, there were no big screen TVs scattered throughout the dining area (much appreciated); only amusing âclassicâ dog portraits. I ordered a daily special smoked duck appetizer in a crispy, spring roll-type wrap that smelled incredible and tasted even better! Since I was rather hungry I ordered their âSamson Burgerâ with smoked gouda and andouille sausage. I can count on one hand the number of times I had to leave part of a burger, unfinished, on my plate: This was one of those times. Big and delicious is an understatement. My date (who had been here before) ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it (she was able to finish it :) ). Even though the place was packed, service was above average. Both the manager and the co-owner (her husband is the head chef) stopped by the table to make sure all was well and I informed both that this is my new favorite place. Oh, regarding beer: A multitude of choices and even a few I was not familiar with.

The StoneRose Restaurant strives to be Conshohocken's destination for inspired cuisine focusing on the bounty of quality seasonal ingredients right from our backyard in southeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer a beer
The menu is unique, and all the foods we tried were super good. There is a nice wine list, and the servers were excellent. We were glad to have been given an outside table, as the restaurant itself was SO loud with customers and no good autistics that we would not have been able to eat inside. The inside would be great for a squabbling couple, as you couldnât hear what your partner was saying. Thank you for your review. We hope you'll join us again soon! Cheers!
