Reviews on Pub food in Cascade Locks, Oregon, United States. Cascade Locks is a city in Hood River County, Oregon, United States. The city took its name from a set of locks built to improve navigation past the Cascades Rapids of the Columbia River. The U.S. federal government approved the plan for the locks in 1875, construction began in 1878, and the locks were completed on November 5, 1896. The locks were subsequently submerged in 1938, replaced by Bonneville Lock and Dam, although the city lost no land from the expansion of Lake Bonneville behind the dam some 4 miles (6 km) downstream of the city. The city population was 1,144 at the 2010 census.

This is very much a local bar. Very old, a little run down. Smells of greasy food.Never eaten here, not sure i would want to. We camp in the area each year, and have had a tradition of stopping in for a shot. Same lady has always been here serving us. Never more than 2 or 3 people in there, but we have always been during the day. Expensive, but she was friendly. Pool tabels, and darts.

We are a locally ran, Family owned and operated brewery. We have had the pleasure of serving local residents and visitors from abroad. We would love to serve you and to stop by the pub and have a pint and beer!
This place is great. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. The patio area is relaxing, kid and dog friendly. Day or evening. Try the twisted Caesar salad. The best I have ever had. Also the home made soups are so delicious. I had the ham and bean. The beer selections are many and fresh. My husband bought several kinds of six packs as well as a growler.

We got back a little late from hiking and settled on going here because we didn't want to sit outside in the heat where we first chose. Poor decision on our part. This place really needs some updating, and it wasn't the cleanest. I got a steak, that was supposed to be medium rare, but it was just about well done because it was paper thin. The Fish and Chips were decent, and our service was good. As we finished our meal we noticed ants all under our booth, they were crawling on my husbands feet. Not good!

Popped in here after exploring the locks and before going over the bridge. We both had the salmon chowder as we were cold and needed warming up. Whilst ti was tasty i wish it had been hotter. Service was quick.

We've been here a few times, mostly in summer. Whether you sit inside (winter) or outside (summer), the experience is similar--great drinks, nice servers, and delicious-looking food. We've eaten here only once, and it was awhile ago so I'm not comment on food, but the experience of drinks is always positive. Not a fancy place at all but very comfortable!

Spent a beautiful late summer evening overlooking the river while sipping on-premises-made brews â especially enjoyed the Forest IPA. In our group we ordered The Berry Salad with salmon which featured a lite dressing that greatly enhanced the experience of this entree. The nacho plate with chicken and guacamole and the burger and fries were also generous and tasty. For dessert, the brownie with berries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was shared and enjoyed by all while playing a game of Yahtzee. Highly recommend this casual dining spot with a Columbia River view, magnificent sunsets and relaxed atmosphere.
