After visiting, and enduring, and finally regretting several mediocre franchises, I must say our outing as a family to our local Applebee's was a rather pleasant one. From the service, by the very capable Brittney, to the food from the 2 for $20 menu, everyone was at the very least, content. Even the wallet. After reading several bad reviews, I was singing the song from the Clash: "Should I stay, or should I go?" Well, happy we all went. Place was busy at around 7:30 PM, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the time. Food from the limited, but none the less, very acceptable menu was certainly good enough for our hungry crowd. Even though we were only 5, we ordered 3 of the 2 for $20, so some food returned home with us for a later midnight snack!Only water was asked for, and even that was nicely delivered with Brittany's friendly smile. The bill came out to around $67.41?, which was kind of enigmatic, and had me trying to decipher the actual tax being charged, but now a days there are so many surcharges that I simply took it with a grain of salt. 17% was given to our server, surely deserved, and we walked away $74+ less.Is Applebee's on the rebound? 4 Stars.

Got talked into coming back to this place by friends to see the UFC-Holm/Rousey fight. Not much has changed since last time here. Food still below standard(rather eat at McDonalds), place was dirty & service was slow. They had enough staff but they were too busy watching the fight to serve the customers. Most of the people around us were frustrated too. Can't wait till the new restaurants go in on Newport. The only positive was that they had the fight on & we didn't have to order it

Located inside the golf facility. Daily grill specials are decent value options. Several sandwiches, ribs, pasta, burgers, dogs, and typical pub food are available. French dip and BBQ brisket were good, brisket a bit fatty. About a dozen tables and 4 counter bar stools. Very quiet lunch...only two other diners at 1pm. Dinner offerings are more substantive and maybe more crowded. Closed Mondays.
You can dine in the "Tavern" which is a separate dining facility or order most of the menu items throughout the facility for full service delivery (some items can only be ordered in the Tavern). The menu is quite large, more than a typical bar/pub would offer. There are over 30 beers and a good selection of wines. You can order them with any server throughout, but I couldn't find a drinks menu outside the Tavern. Prices are quite reasonable.

Randomly stopped while on a day trip to Lake Elsinore area... hit!Devoured the food too fast to take pics. It seems just about everything is made in house and you can taste it. Fish tacos - spot on. Slaw they put on is so tasty I got an extra side >:-). Chinese chicken salad âdelicious and very freshâ says my lovely wife. House made dressing \m/Onion rings ... excellent! Light... crunchy... not from some frozen madd produced... some of the best weâve had.Our daughter dug the rings as well and inhaled the Mac n cheese... score!Good vibe, good tunes (KISS!!!), lots of old school pics of the area. Staff were all very cool. Didnât have adult beverages but the bar seemed solid. Fair prices for the quality. Def would come back - def would recommend!
A few things you should know. They may close early if it's slow. Meal hours get busy and they don't have a big staff, so if there's a party, you should be prepared for slow service (you can always call ahead and pick-up). What they do serve is very good and done with friendly attention. Parking during lunch can be impossible, so just park down the hill in the market lot and take a short walk.

This place overlooks a gold course and I was worried it was going to be to kitschy for us but it was fantastic. The tables are beautifully crafted with wooden seats, the seats are comfortable, the ambiance is country, and the patio is super cute with Edison string lights. We went during happy hour and enjoyed several mason jars of beer. I really liked the blonde and two of the guys with us who are normally IPA drinkers liked the red. Our waitress was entertaining and quick, and when she brought me the fried pickles I knew I had found my place. They were absolutely delicious. We also had the chili cheese fries and there were no complaints about their deliciousness. For my main I had the cowboy burger and it also did not disappoint. This is a great stop for lunch/dinner or casual drinks.
