Lovely restaurant in Bastos. The seating is somewhat open to the air. It has a pub atmosphere with a bar and sports games playing. Service certainly leaves something to be desired, though the food just about makes up for it. Thereâs a nice ambiance and itâs easy to find vegetarian options. Tip: bring your own water as itâs expensive there and they only have small bottles.

Went here over the weekend and discovered a new part of this restaurant: dinning inside. Inside the restaurant is really cosy and cool especially during hot Douala nights. The food portions here are really generous and tasty. You can opt for absolutely anything and be sure to love it. Go for beer as spirits are very expensive. It sis always a delight to be back at Paradise restaurant.

A 45 min de yaoundé environ, sur l'axe de l'Ouest, cadre convivial, propice à la détente, une carte encore en gestation .. mais de très bon produit locaux et un acceuil sympathique.

This is a great place to visit for a drink/view of Yaounde Cameroon. It is on the 11th floor of the Hilton Hotel, and I found it very very nice. Very posh, and the decor is very NY like. They have a variety of flat screen tv's and even a billiards table. Happy hour is 4p-6p, but it does not get busy until 8p. They are open at 4pm until 1230am. Give it a whirl. Worth a try for sure. You will have to go through security screening at the front of the hotel, but that is no big deal. It is part of life. This hotel is where all the government diplomats stay, so security is #1 Priority.

Great bar/restaurant overlooking Ambas Bay

I stayed at the Savoy Palmz but they didn't have vegetarian food. This place makes an excellent salad and vegetable, rice and fried egg dish. They serve fresh fruit for desert. Went there twice for dinner I liked the place and ambiance that much. Nice sea breeze too.
