Found this place while driving through Wisconsin. Third time we have been here. Hamburgers are great. They were cooked perfectly. French fries were really good too! They also has peanuts that were really fresh. The drinks were good too. The owner/bartender Diane was really friendly. We will always stop here when we are in the Hayward area.

Went with friends first time thereI had the pollack fish fry with a baked potato and Cole slaw. It was excellent. My wife had the smothered chicken with mushrooms and potato salad with a green salad.Again excellent. Total bill was less than $25Thank you for your great review!

My wife's medium well burger came out medium rare. But, the server took it back and they promptly made another burger which came out as desired. I tried it and thought the patty had nice caramelization, flavor and a good bun. My daughter and I shared the meat lovers pizza, which was forgettable with a barely there crust. Lunch at Otter Bay Resort on Lake Owen. Small bar with tables with view of the lake. Outdoor dining area also. Menu really scaled back from years past. Mostly appetizers, one or two burgers and a chicken sandwich. If you want a selection of food, go somewhere else. Although food ordered was okay, it, was nothing to write home about. We probably would not be back. Staff friendly, clean. Not much happening here. Outside much in disarray. Overgrown landscaping and large garbage burn pile in parking lot. They have,cabins, boat launch and hotel rooms. Unknown what those are like.

We were staying at the Lenroot Lodge and you need to check in here. It made sense for us to enjoy dinner here. We loved it and they have a great breakfast as well.Thank you so much for the good review. We came across this place while passing thru the area. Beautiful location on the lake shore. Nice deck overlooking the lake. Lodge like feel. Varied menu, reasonable prices. Try the house spectral pizza and you won't be disappointed! Convenience store adjacent to the bar.

The food was very good! Had the fish fry, shrimp tacos and the Outsider sandwich. Death by chocolate and Creme brûlée. Cheese curds and wings. The owners have a nice set up and the servers are very nice. Mark/Sara We will be back for sure!!
