Visited on a Saturday night in October for a social evening meal with 19 friends in the private room upstairs. Then on the Sunday morning held a club AGM with a buffet lunch for 30. On the Monday night dined here again with friends from Sidmouth. Everything well handled by staff who have the right attitude about service and with a smile. Food really good on all three occasions and super value for money especially catch of the day and the fish & chips. As we are regular visitors to Sidmouth we always have a meal here at least once. Well done and thanks to Jo for giving us a good night.

The Grapevine is a Pub in the centre of Exmouth, serving local ales, its own brewed beer craft beer and excellent food. We are just off the town centre near the Strand and are family friendly and dog friendly. The award winning Ruby Kitchen, previously si
We found this place by accident having just walked out of The Merchant due to bad service, we were looking for a Sunday Roast but when we realised they didn't do them we spotted the burgers and decided to stay as they looked fantastic! They didn't disappoint! The pub has an onsite brewery with lots of beers to try but we were driving so had to stick to soft drinks. We orders our food at the bar and didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. The food is based around Burgers with lots of different ones available, there are a could of alternatives like Nachos. We chose a Pulled Pork with Maple BBQ Sauce and a portion of Chilli Nachos. All I can say is we left feeling fat, full and happy. The Staff were excellent and the food was amazing. You really do need to give this place a try!HiGlad you stumbled upon us. No, we don't do a standard Sunday roast (not many places do in town, these days) but we do serve excellent burgers, nachos and salads. Great news that you enjoyed your visit and we hope you will return again soon.

The Clinton Arms is under new management. We are a family friendly pub/restaurant serving home cooked lunches and evening meals daily. (12pm to 8pm). Daily specials, Sunday roasts also available. We have ample seating in our dining areas as well as in our
We visited last night for our meal. We both ordered cottage pie. When it was bought to the table there was a very dry cottage pie in a dish served with a portion of chips, very hard frozen peas and a jug of thick, almost cold gravy. I'm not sure I've ever been given a cottage pie with chips before. Really do need to invest in some vegetables, fresh that is!Whilst staff are super friendly, the food really needs to be improved. Our cottage pie is Home made and then portioned into the smaller dishes, this weekend we have served 120+ portions and had nothing but positive feedback from all diners. If your displeasure had been drawn to the attention of one of our staff we would of course have attempted to try and cook your meal to your tastes, It is nearly impossible for any restaurant to cater to every taste. We only put the chips on the side as a few diners requested it, obviously its everyone's choice whether to eat them or not.

We visited this pub on a Friday evening around 18.30 for a family wedding anniversary meal, four adults and three children, ages 5, 2 and 6 weeks. On entering the pub the landlady was helpful, we found a large round table near the window. As our grand-daughter was hungry and a bit cranky some locals were vocally complaining, we could clearly hear them, I asked the landlady for a high chair, she willingly obliged but had to ask another local couple to move so she could reach the highchairs, once again finger pointing and low level complaining. This made us feel very uncomfortable with both my wife & daughter stating they did not want to stay and eat there, at which point we left and decided to return to our holiday park a couple of miles away.If the owners of The Salterton Arms reads this review then maybe you should speak to your locals as they are losing you business.A nice looking pub let down by rude locals.

Dog and child friendly family pub offering good pub food, traditional pub games and a great atmosphere. Function room available for private hire.
Hard work in a long meeting needed special relaxation and we found it in the homelysurrounding, with glowing fire, well-maintained, and my favourite steak and kidney suet pudding. Mmmmm.Nice little roadside pub off the main Budleigh Salterton to Exmouth road, rucked awaywith good parking. Recommended.Nicely presented food and friendly pleasant atmoshper. Quiet and enabling conversation, often a problem with some busier pubs.PLarge

16th Century Village Pub. 4 Good Cask Beers With Traditional Pub Food. We Are Open From 11.00 To 14.30 Then 18.00 To 23.00.
Stayed locally and walked through the lovely scenic village of East Budleigh to the Sir Walter Raleigh. Wasnât disappointed, had some nice real ales in the beer garden and then a meal inside the pub. Friendly service and very good food, the waiters kindly let me have the lunchtime pork and apple sauce baguette even though it was 8pm. Drinks great value too. Nice English pub.MM

We have revisited recently with family as we were told that it was a very different experience since it changed hands. The atmosphere is great, along with the excellent service and food. We have now eaten a couple of times and we highly recpmmend the Feathers (especially the gammon). Whenever we are in town we will certainly visit again.
