When my daughter announced she was getting married to a wonderful man, as we helped them make planes, she said she wanted the Rox to cater the meal. Having grown up in Roxbury, she ate many meals not only with us but with her friends as they attended high schoolThe experience couldn't have been better. They took our budget and came up with a plan that covered both the omnivores and the vegetarians On the day of the wedding, the food was delivered and set up and went off without a hitch (expect we ran out of little potatoes)When the food can make or break a reception, the Rox came through and made a great day, a wonderful daySo glad you enjoyed everything!

Mattar's is consistently excellent. Preparation is far better than the average "bistro" or Pub, with superb ingredients, carefully presented in a far more upscale presentation than one would expect.I have never been disappointed at Mattar's, try the oysters, ice cold, briny, and fresh like the sea on a plate. The Mediterranean appetizers are a surprise, authentic and tasty.Service is beyond expectation for a more casual bistro.Advice? Take the ride and enjoy Mattars!

Marley's could be a great hometown restaurant if they paid some attention to detail, The interior is dated, the restroom was filthy and the servers seemed indifferent or untrained. It's sad when it's "taco night" and the waiter doesn't know enough to bring the taco menu. The food wasn't much better. The roast beef was very dried out and our table of 4 had to ask for several items that the waiter forgot to bring with the meals. A disappointing evening.

As a avid lover of the Blues, I visit the SHH everytime they have a Blues act..which is more often than anywhere else in these woods of NE Jersey! The place is great. Autographed pictures of music legends cover the walls. The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate all patrons as possible. The food is surprisingly good (don't leave without having the coconut shrimp..best anywhere). Drinks and service are top notch. Keep your eye on their FB page/website/whatever they are bound to bring in performers that you want to hear. LOVE the place.
We stopped in had a nice diner, the dining room could use a little updating as the space is huge. All the best to the new ownership.
We stoped in for a bite to eat and everything was good. They could use a little update on the interior, I felt like I was sitting at a table in a desert island. All the best to the new owners

We found this pub on our way from a wedding we didn't even know in what town we were in but we were looking for a place to eat and as we were driving we saw it in a small mall strip on Highway 206 .The moment we went inside we liked it .The pub is spacious and has a nice atmosphere.we all had a burger and it was delicious. We were not hungry but the moment we took a bite of the burger we decided we were going to eat it all.The service was good and the waiter was very friendly.Too bad that it's too far from were we live but definitely a place to go to to if you are in the area.

Let me start by saying I have eaten here half a dozen times and am always impressed with the service and quality of the food. The part that I think hurts Shakeys is the appearance and maintenance of the place. The place looks dreary and run down with no clear "style" or atmosphere. It has an Irish name but lacks the charm of an old style Irish pub. The bathrooms fro some reason have a cowboy motif. The shocking part is the new clam bar they own is BEAUTIFUL and is in the same parking lot.

I haven't eaten at Chili's in a while, but it seems quality and quantity has gone south.Although they seem to be pushing a healthier menu, which is good, but it appears something's got lost along the way. The Youngman taking our order was great, to bad the rest of the crew didn't follow through, it took forever to get our drinks and even long for the food, I was beginning to think that they had to go out and catch the salmon for my dinner, and the place wasn't that busy.

Pleasant surprise! Unlike our last visit to an Applebees, we were able to have a meal without choking on fat and sugar!! To start with, the clientele was mostly normal, with only a very few morbidly obese. While the menu was tailored to those who are planning death by cholesterol & diabetes, there was an adequate selection of sensible food. I chose a Thai shrimp salad that was quite good. There were fish and veggie choicesThe server was attentive, pleasant and helpful. We have noted the location in a Netcong shopping plaza as a potential stop on any future trips
