We stopped in because we had friends that recommended the place. Some reviews had concerns about service. That was not the case. One lady behind the bar did a great job taking care of us and the many people in the bar. We did not wait long for the burgers that were very good. They have a pretty extensive menu for a bar.

Last night we celebrated my husband's birthday with friends and they allowed a cake to be brought in and even cut it and served it too. I had the Asian Salmon and others had the Tenderloin tips and the birthday boy had the New York strip. Excellent meal and a wonderful time had by all.

This is very old and interesting pub to visit. Their French onion soup is out of this world and their sandwiches are very good. Dinners can be pricy but worth it. Service can be slow at times. The building and it's contents are worth the visit. There is a wine bottle chandelier that is beautiful. Upstairs looks like a old hunting lodge with many animals on display. Very close to holy hill. This is a beautiful trip in the fall to see the fall colors.

It's not much to look at but it's a blast from the past. It's a place where village came for fish fries in Friday day night. Great food & service. The grilled chicken sandwich is awesome. Service is great & locals are fun. Stop in for a taste of how life use to be.
