We stopped here for a quick meal of wings and fries. We were seated immediately with no wait and the service was very quick. Food was hot and fresh. Diet coke was strong. Bathrooms were very clean. Everyone was friendly. There were plenty of TV's with a nice variety of sports playing, including trivia which we enjoyed playing. Nice location!

Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Burger was great! I was put off tho, when I saw the owner? standing around smoking and drinking beer and our server drinking black and tan/boiler makers? with a customer at his table. Very unprofessional. Smoke level was not bad though. Nice one time and only time visit I think.

The meal was good, the service was very good, and this seems to be an under-rated restaurant in this area. I'd definitely return for a meal, if I return to the Bedford area. With the Chili's menu, there is something for everyone, and they have good lunch specials.

First time customer - I ordered two entrees to go (Chicken Breast and Chicken Fried Steak). The chicken breast was pretty good, with grilled veggies and positioned on a bed of rick pilaf. The chicken fried steak was overcooked to the point of burnt - if I had been served this dish while dining in, I would have sent it back. I am 67 years old, and have eaten a lot of chicken fried steaks in my time, but this one was the absolute worst ! The gravy and fries were tasty, but the burned steak ruined the meal. Not only was it burned, but the meat was about 1/8" inch thick. It may have started out thicker, but by the time it was charred, that was all that was left. Since this was a to-go order, I didn't buy drinks or have any experience with the service. Very disappointed that an establishment would think a customer would enjoy burned food.

Absolutely spot on service. Meredith was very attentive.Happy birthday to her!!! Food was served fast and super yum! We had the Texas smothered fries, fish and chips, chips and queso, and the 1/2 baked can chicken. Sunday football on all Tv's. 2 bars. Big patio and spacious inside seating. Definite must visit again. THANKS ICEHOUSE!!

Boomer's is a basic sports bar. We spent Saturday afternoon watching the opening weekend of college football. The atmosphere is an A+. I like the open patio under the Live Oak tree. Inside, the wood floors, brick walls and TV screens everywhere make it feel like a sports bar.The atmosphere is where the positivity ends. Service is terrible. We sat by the entrance to the kitchen. There are round port holes to see into the kitchen. I watched the servers stand behind those doors and chat more than they worked. My drinks sat empty while they chatted and laughed. When I asked to see the beer menu, our server pointed us to a menu on the table. She failed to tell us they have craft beers which can be found on the chalkboard wall. I discovered it after we placed our order. The food was bar food. It works for a day of sports and drinking. I didn't care for the liquid cheese on the brisket nachos. The cheeseburger was over cooked and dry. After about two hours here, we gave up on the service and headed to the Ice House next door. FYI - It's not much better. Another party spot.
