This place has long story in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence: Movie theather during the 20th Century(1911-1978) and Cabaret 'Henry 4' in the 19th century (1860-1910) Nowadays the restaurant is big place in which you will enjoy oriental or mediterraneen food. Come
The frontage looks small, but there's a big, airy, very high-ceilinged room behind it. There are both Moroccan and Mediterranean menus. First courses we had were beautifully presented: carpaccio of scallops, foie gras with date purée and brioche. One of us had fish - John Dory - and reported that the vegetables were exceptional, including a carrot puré with ginger, he ate it all and he doesn't even like veg! Tagines were good and the couscous light as a feather. We had a white Romanin, correct and easy to drink! Helpful and charming service. We'll certainly go back.

Having just finished a visit to the fabulous castle we stopped for lunch at this pleasant Restaurant in Place Vielle. e few meters from the castle entrance. Pleasant waiter took our order for Tornedos Rossini which was well cooked, just bloody, the foie gras was a little slimy for my liking. The Pschitt lemonade was really refreshing, I had my first of many bottles of this as a school boy on my first channel crossing in 1964 and thought it so histerical to keep asking our teacher if he wanted a Pscitt ? Any way great view over the square and an d good experience all roundThank you very much sir for your assessments!
Central, very popular with locals, most of the trade was take outs.Big selection, well cooked, all (5) of the pizzas had good crispy bases.Friendly if slightly slow business, but they were very busy.Good value food and drink

We enjoyed visiting Le Cafe du Commerce while staying in the beautiful village of Boulbon. The owner couldnât have been more accommodating, the service is spot on the the meal we ate there was terrific (fabulous frites!!). Local produce, great service and a fabulous place to have a drink and soak up the village atmosphere.
