Three generations of the Frank family found new inspiration in Englandâs growing gastropub movement. So, in 2009, they refurbished, restyled and re-opened the traditional British pub at Five Crowns as Corona del Marâs first and only English-style gastropu
The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the food is delicious. It is a great place to grab small plates and drinks or a full entree. The menu is well thought-out and varied containing some comforting pub- food dishes and much more. They have a great charcuterie menu. I had shishito peppers and a delightful salad. My husband had the chicken pot pie.

Enjoy award-winning American cuisine or a signature cocktail while taking in the panoramic view of the Back Bay nature preserve. The menu features a wide variety of fresh local seafood and Prime steaks. The Bistro is famous for Family Brunch on Saturdays
We dined here for both lunch and dinner and were pleased with both. The bar drinks were great, very friendly service, decent prices, easy parking, nice view, and delicious food. We particularly liked the John Dory fish dinner with wonderful mushroom risotto. The shrimp scampi was also very good. The only thing we didn't like was the lobster mac 'n cheese because there was hardly any lobster in it. You can dine inside or outdoors with a great view of the water.

First time to this very cool retro beach community. Arrived around 10:30am Friday morning for brunch. Waited about 10 minutes for a table for six on the deck. Incredible bloody Maryâs with grilled shrimp and a colossal crab claw. The avocado toast was to die for with ripe avocado, balsamic vinegar and over medium poached egg - highly recommend!

From my Sat afternoon visit to this local Newport Beach 'Dive', I can see why Tony 'Dogbomb' liked coming here. It's a fun place to hang out, talk to the very nice bartenders and have a drink or meal. Tony passed away from ALS on 04/05/19 (known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, which is a specific disease that causes the death of neurons controlling voluntary muscle). He was a friend to many in the furry fandom, and outside the furry community as well. I hope to return with other Orange Co. Furries in Nov for ALS Walk in Irvine and a return visit here to pay homage. FIVE CLAWS UP!!!!! Thanks for checking this review. Joe G. Bear in Redondo Beach, CA

Celebrating nearly 40 years, Muldoonâs is the real thing. A warm generous & friendly pub with fine pub food. Situated on the corner of Southern Californiaâs #1 shopping - financial district Fashion Island - Newport Center, Muldoonâs is known for her two p
This is a great find near Fashion Island. It has extensive outdoor and indoor seating areas and a convivial atmosphere. Great for people watching!I ordered a traditional burger and dies, both of excellent quality. My waiter, Scott apologised for the wait and so I wrote a review of a previous restaurant visit. In what seemed like no time at all my burger arrived. As an apology for the wait I was given a complimentary ice cream. In the UK if it had arrived any quicker it would have been considered unseemly haste!Ooh I forgot the loaf that was served as a complimentary appetizer. Also excellent. As was the check - very reasonably priced.

The historic Village Inn restaurant transitioned owners in 2012. The restaurant has updated its menu to contemporary, American cuisine with coastal influence. The venue maintaines live entertainment 6 nights a week and offers happy hour from 3-6pm Mon-Fri
My husband and I dined therefor V-Day and enjoyed the food and service immensely, however didnât want to ruin the evening by complaining, it was Valentineâs day after all! We opted for the prix fixe menuâ both the greeter and our server noted that yes, for $55, we can share the appetizer, share the salad, share the cocktail and wine, EACH get a SEPARATE entree, and share the dessert. We even confirmed with our waitress again, so for one payment of $55, weâll get two entrees? Affirmative, from her lips to our ears.Made no sense to us, who have dined prix fixe in other restaurants before, but who are we to judge. So we ordered the cajun pasta and the bourbon chicken (both excellent!), but were surprised when we were charged TWO prix fixe meals at $55.For two prix fixe meals of $55, we should have gotten TWO appetizers, two cocktails, two glasses of wine, two entrees, and two desserts....correct?We wrote the management at the village inn to see if they could explain/rectify the situation. No reply. Go there for drinks maybe, but find food anywhere else.

My wife, 10year old granddaughter and I had dinner at Summer House. The dining area is full of charm and good cheer. Drinks are great. The Margarita Ultima is the ultimate. Service was friendly and efficient. I had a burger to die for, perfectly prepared and huge.Could barely finish it. My wife had the fish tacos, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My granddaughter was content with her chicken fingers. A very pleasant evening in a very pleasant restaurant. Try it, you will like it.

Located directly across the street from Newport Beachâs Fashion Island (in the Fashion Island Hotel) the Oak Grill has the most serene and tranquil patio for lunch/dinner. Met girlfriends last Saturday afternoon for lunch and was happily surprised that I did not have to fight the traffic inside the mall. The jewel in our afternoon crown was feasting on Bloody Maryâs, Ruben and Beef Dip Sandwiches, Tuna Salad Nicoise, and the most AMAZING Butter Cake! From the hostess to the waitstaff everything was perfect. Canât wait to come back!

Our friends took us to this restaurant that was very busy. The best thing about this restaurant was the appetizer that was a giant pretzel. We were just eating our pretzel and they tried to serve us our entreeâs. We refused thee entrees at this time. The eventually brought them back. Our server kept disappearing and we were disappointed in the whole experience. We did not return to this restaurant.
