I'm not sure if this restaurant cum bar is newly opened, but what a superb place. We discovered it because it was one of the few places that was open for for food at around 7pm. Little else opened until 8 or 8.30pm by which time we would have faded to nothing. We had already walked from the Parador hotel in to town and back looking for a restaurant who's kitchen was open, and we were so glad we selected this one. The owner was great and so welcoming. We sat at an outdoor table and he chose our first two tapas; bull in a homemade sauce, and peppers stuffed with fish in some delicious sauce. Both were brilliant but the beef really stood out as a superb dish. By then we had google translator fired up and chose the next 2 tapas ourselves; courgettes with spinach (very tasty), and kidneys cooked in sherry (superb). The house wine was excellent as were the two desserts we chose. It turns out all the food is homemade by the owner's wife and mother which is probably why it tastes so good. It was good fun conversing with the owner in his limited English and our limited Spanish, but we had a great night. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
