Set in a little square, Bar Higuitos is a popular place for tapas and meals. Sit outside on the terrace and relax with a tinto verano or a cold beer. The bar itself is tiny. This place is clean and the service efficient. Each time we bought a drink we were given a free tasty tapa.

Modern, trendy tapas bar serving lunches from 12 until 4 and then free tapas from then owards. After 8pm a selection of more unusual tapas including Thai Curry, Chicken wings, slow cooked ribs, chilli con carne, patatas bravas and daily specials
It's an up and coming bar. I came with my girlfriend and a few of my friends for a coffee and the waiter serving us was so friendly that we decided to stay for a few beers and some soft drinks (free tapa of our choice with each drink! ). We also ordered a burger which was recommended by our star waiter and it was delicious, if you fancy a homemade ox-burger then this is the place to come. He informed us that for lunchtime there is more selection of food in general, tapas available at dinnertime also (burgers, Thai curry, an amazing beef and ale pie, excellent mini hamburgers and more!). One of the most important points is that you can try the tapas for free and if you really enjoy them you can order them as a ration. In conclusion, friendly staff, good food and a very chill environment. I'm definitely coming back again!! Thank you!

The best drinks in town , a night bar no food on offer but if its a G & T or Mojito you want dont look any further. Not cheap but quality always costs.

Totalmente recomendable.

Iâve been coming to Almuñécar for several years and read a bit about this English bar. Firstly itâs miles out side of Almuñécar, so not really within. Walking distance. My experience as a first time visitor is not that impressed itâs geared for ex pats of course and has a clique of mainly elderly clientele and itâs a restaurant NOT a bar so I was surprised that itâs basically an extended living room with a tiny bar area and tables for âdinnerâ with reserved on them. Itâs clean, tidy and modern but drinks is limited beer is Alhambra (yawn) supposed to be an English pub???England playing Switzerland on tv with sound down whilst everyone had large Sundayâs roasts, so if you think this is a bar for football and beers itâs a no.The elderly grandmas who serve got my order wrong - a pint became a half and the wine was the cheapest there is in Europe probably as worse as furthest Polish wine. A bit of an arrogant tone to standing trying to watch football in this place where every table is reserved so nowhere to sit.My review will be poo poo by the regulars but if your a first time visitor this is a little âclubâ and beware itâs tiny, not a bar and geared for meals.Disappointing, but motivated a friend of mine to open a proper English bar in Almuñécar.
