Service was average and the soup was ok. I've eaten here twice now and been disappointed each time. Came the 1st time because of their name and the movie and this last time because it was a Monday night and we couldn't find anything else open. Didn't taste like anything was homemade or made with any effort to say the least. Beautiful location but disappointed again.

We came on a Sunday evening with four couples during an office retreat. Our server was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. My wife and I did the Sunday special of a two topping 12" pizza and 6 pieces of broasted chicken for $16 (I did an all white meat upcharge for $1.50). The pizzza (thin crust) and chicken were really good. The chicken pieces were large and cooked to perfection, completely done and still moist! We would definitely return!!
We are a bar and grill with daily specials. Located right along the Mississippi River. Big bay windows to watch water wildlife: swans, ducks, eagles, beavers, etc. We are very reasonable on price and you won't leave hungry.
We participated in a fun run to raise money for cancer research. Even though the owner was going through a family situation he made the event fun for everyone who'd come to run. The place was packed but the food was as delicious as ever. Some of us had burgers & a few had appetizers and food still came out hot & quickly. These new owners have done a really nice job & we will return every time we come to Buffalo City. The menu has a lot to choose from so there's something for everyone, even kids. Good parking & easy to get to. Beautiful view of the river.

This was the only pub/bar open in town. Having been in this location for over a decade, the vibe is Irish pub. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine and a beer. Menu simple, yet Irish.
Iâve been here a few times with family or friends and itâs always good. Last night was with family and everyone enjoyed their food. Theyâre in the middle of some renovations, but the servers and kitchen didnât miss a beat. Those look to be done soon and canât wait to see how it turns it out. Fish tacos are a great addition to the menu. The burgers never disappoint. Looking forward to the next time!

Went there Friday April 17. Heard about YaHooligans from a friend. A small group of us went there on a Friday night. They don't take reservations or credit cards. It was very busy and only two girls working the bar. The service and food were excellent. The best shrimp I have ever had, including the east coast. I am not sure how the two girls kept up with everyone, but they did, with a smile.I like that the shrimp were priced at $2.00 each. You can have as many or few as you want and be satisfied. The fries, or cole slaw or beans are extra. I keep hearing how good the beans are but haven't tried them.Free popcorn and peanuts and the beer is reasonable. I'll be back.
Alma Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Alma
I have to admit, I was expecting more of a view from the dining room, but it is right across the street from the lock & dam. This is a classic small WI tavern with big juicy burgers made a variety of ways. We had Mushroom Swiss burgers, they claim to use 1/2 pound of meat for each burger and I don't doubt it, there was plenty of delicious swiss cheese dripping out the sides, and a healthy amount of mushrooms. I thought maybe the burger could use a little more seasoning, but it was definitely good and we didn't leave hungry. The bartender was friendly. They also serve pizza which we didn't try. I love little places like this and will probably stop here again.

We got turned around during a drive organized by a small group with our car club and decided to have lunch. We were looking for different restaurant and chose this one sine we were mistaken where the ârightâ one was.It turned out to be a good choice. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Thank you lunch gods for introducing us to a new place to enjoy a good meal.

Stopped here for a beer with friends on our way home from dinner. We didnât eat here but the food looked good and smelled good. The atmosphere is awesome, mounted animals, old signage, automobile parts, etc. Outside pavilion area is nice too. Itâs next door to their T-shirt shop called the Camel Toe. Would like to stop here and eat some day.
