Attended a small family wedding here and due to the room being very loud and crowded I asked if there was somewhere quiet to feed my three month old baby, as in aware in other similar venues there can be small lounge areas with couches. I was advised that this establishment didnât have a lounge are (which was absolutely fine) but I was then told if Iâm more than welcome to used the disabled toilet....what the actual!! So definitely NOT family friendly in my eyes!

We had a great meal here. Up market pub food. Their specials board was amazing. They asked us to review them as it was a new menu. Even the chef came out to see us. We told them it was great. Such a good variety. There were 6 of us in our party, we all had something different and everyone really enjoyed their meal.Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave this great review.It's always great to receive this kind of feedback.I am glad your group all tried a variety of dishes and each was enjoyable.Our new Head Chef is very proud of the food that is now coming out of the kitchen.Hopefully we will see you back here again sometime soon.Kind regardsReuben. Went here for dinner last evening thought it had to be a T bone medium rare for a hungry me - not cheap but so what I needed it- apart from being maybe 1cm âthickâ it was shocking from the first touch of the knife and you can see the final product in the photo. Sinew, gristle just bloody awful. I wish Iâd sent it back but never been a fan of that - wifeâs duck helped her diet as some little meat, best meal was the bangers n mash! The cheapest also be far. Wonât be backHi Mike, thank you for letting us know and providing photos - we do wish you had sent it back so our Chef on the night could have fixed it immediately for you. We have used your feedback for training in the team and so we very much appreciate you sharing the problem. Came here to try and watch an AFL game on a night where north QLD was playing in the NRL. Shannon (staff) was amazing.He found a corner, put it on 3 screens, grabbed my wife a lounge chair and totally looked after us- best service in a pub ever!On top of that all the staff were friend,y and good drink prices.Definitely coming back here.Didn't eat here on this occasion but 5 stars for atmosphere and service.Hello and thank you for your recent review of The Pub. We are glad to see you had such a great time here, the staff work very hard to make each and every persons day when they visit.
