"In Sado" a peaceful vintage restaurante full of roots and traditions. Our food is served as tapas to invite the share and taste of the authentic Portuguese flavors. The desserts and ice creams are homemade and the wine cellar is from the local region. We
Visiting friends who chose this as our first dining experience in Setubal, knowing that we are foodies who like to get to know the local cuisine. Not disappointed.Sado is a little restaurant with a friendly staff that specialized in small plates. We quickly perused the menu and got a pitcher of the best red Sangria ever, tasty with apples and mint in the mix, We put in an order for about 8 items, and they began to arrive promptly.I was eager to trty migas, a traditional portuguese dis of mostly cabbage--it was OK, at least it got me some of my veggies. More memorable, stuffed mushroom caps. Chicken gizzards, good in a sweet sauce. Black Iberico pork--now that's good meat, served up with grilled pineapple. Cuttlefish--fabulous, flavor like calamari but in big, meaty slices that you can sink your teeth into.My initiation into Setubal's cuisin started quite well.

Atmosphere: the waiters are really kind and mostly fast. The decoration is trendy and the view really great. You have enough parking space in front of the door. Starters: we had bread, good homemade butter and sweet potatoes. We also ordered scrambled eggs with farinheira. It all tasted really good. Main courses: we had the tuna filet with vegetables and the curry with cashew and mushrooms. It all had a good taste and was served really nice. Dessert: the mousse au chocolate was great and the cheesecake with red fruits tasted delicious.Price: the price was good for the quality you get...If we will stay in Setubal again we will return for sureDear customers. Our thanks for your visit and also for your comment.Cordial greetings

Concept of innovative tavern, where the gastronomy and traditional snacks of the city of Setúbal and the world are combined. Come taste our flavors on the most famous avenue of Sado land.
What a terrible service, we didnât even get to eat. Waited over 40 minutes with no hello no acknowledgement of us waiting, usually even if there is a waiting cue youâd get a hello & acknowledgement of you being there but nothing, there were 2 big tables that couldâve been separated to take 2 extra couples but nothing it was just wasted. Whilst waiting we observed the service to the tables were also slow. Can not attest to food but service wise not great.

This restaurant simply does not disappoint if you want to enjoy succulent beef steak...choosing to cook them on hot stones pieces of Brazilian filet...melts in your mouth , with a selection of accopaniments, mayonnaise dip auces and fresh fruit and chips(crisp style) is a fabulous meal...and the House red is excellent value for money. My favourite meat restaurant in Setubal!!Muito obrigado pela preferência Até breve.

We ate outside and the service was good but the food was only average. Atmosphere was not great but there are not many eating places near the Pousada except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hubby and I had a feast at this restaurant. Authentic home made Portuguese style food. Very well organised with an excellent staff attending and making you feel like home. The buffet has a bit of every typical dish, so we had the opportunity to taste what we hadn't yet...this was a plus!Buffet is an excellent choice for us, we can eat what we prefer or it is a 'all you can eat'! The cost is â¬20 p/p and includes house wine, water, bread...A big selection of cheese and charcuterie (have a glance at the photos) and off course, you can't miss the huge dessert table....Yummy!!!

On every visit, THE first stop. What wonderful friends with a fantastic restaurant. Seafood is right-off-the-boat fresh daily and prepared in the finest manner ever. the variety on the menu is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful and our hostess/ co-owner & great friend Idalina is always gracious and welcoming. You will not find a more wonderful dining experience in Portugal. Will be back for another meal in November '19

The Bobo da Corte is a typical Portuguese restaurant , we are in side the walls of Castelo de Palmela . We are prepared to receive people who want to enjoy a regional cuisine of quality involved in the beautiful landscape . Do not hesitate to contact us b
Due to the great reviews despite being in a somewhat offbeat location, we expected something great. Instead, we got pretty good, albeit with a dash of the usual awesome service and personalities we've become so enamored with while living in Portugal. They provide a lot of cute little thoughtful touches; it's apparent this is a labor of love for the owners. The first time we tried to eat there, it was full up and they told us we needed reservations. So when we decided to stay in the Pousada for a night for our anniversary, we made reservations. On that day, we were the only diners for a good fifteen minutes, although it got busier by the time we left. Anyway, if you stumble across it while exploring the castle, you'll have a pleasant and charming meal. But if you're expecting something as head and shoulders above the overall ratings make it sound like, it might not be as awesome as you're expecting. Still, in a location where you'd usually expect a cheap, touristy, mail-it-in restaurant, kudos to them; it's anything but.

Cozy place with several roomswith vintage environments with wood oven and an outside space.
My first time on the place, already know the owner and the type of food. We made a birthday party in there. The food was very good and fast to serve, the staff is very nice. The only thing I was not so happy about was the price, we paid a lot for the things we ate. But overall is a very good place to dinner and stay until late...
