Loved this little restaurant, with it's unusual decor. We had starters of bread, olives and pate, followed by a perfectly cooked sea bass with potatoes and salad. Also a bottle of house wine which was very good. For desserts we chose cheesecake and triple chocolate, and two coffees. The waiting staff were pleasant and the service very good. People were queueing out into the street, so definitely recommend booking a table on a weekend.....

Located in a former tannery it evolved from simple tavern to a large restaurant. Generations have changed but kept the art of cooking and the main strongholds that continue to attract diners: Stone Soup and Oven Baked Goat. In familiar surrounding you can
Having been a place where furs have been prepared (O Peleiro) the place turned into a very good restaurant with very good food and an excellent choice of wine. Also the appetizers are always very tasty and of course the "Sopa da Pedra" -Stone soup, which is a heavy beansoup with all parts of pork meat.May be in between some hot Shrimps with some garlic sauce and you roll out the restaurant fully satified.

Comida tradicional Portuguesa e Brasileira.
We ate well in F Foz, but the last night here was the best. Delicious freshly cooked food with imagination. And hot! Generous portions . .and ...when the kids had eaten the fried potatoes they brought us more. A couple who really care that you enjoying yourself. 0nly 150m from the promenade near the bullring. Make sure you go there.

We were walking to another restaurant for lunch when we passed this spot. It looked so good from the outside that we threw caution to the wind and decided to have lunch here without knowing anything about it. What a pleasant surprise! The grilled shrimp and monk fish were delicious as was the shrimp and squid. Served on hanging skewers over a bed of salad and potatoes. Just perfect. Made for a delightful afternoon.Obrigada pela sua avaliação. Aguardamos sua próxima visita para podermos surpreender ainda mais!... Até já.

This place has great steaks and great burgers at local prices! You're getting great food for very reasonable prices in a great atmosphere and great service. The highlight we're the cocktails which were all again at local prices and tasted great! Highly recommend!

Taverna Ti João was absolutely fantastic. Fantastic starter, consisting of a mix of sausages (enchidos) and fresh bread. Fantastic 220 g of steak, covered in a delicious sauce and fries. Fantastic desert at the end. Fantastic service, always very helpful and with a smile. Fantastic, small restaurant you should definitely try!

Great quirky space with some old photos, illustrations, and loads of other fun stuff. The food is amazingly good and diversified. And the service... Great! Super professional but with a great sense of humour. Felt really welcomed and happy to be there. Will go back there anytime I can. Great options for vegetarians!!

I had already heard about the home-made food from Casa Havanesa. Being a former historical bookshop from the city of Figueira da Foz, I was really would like to know more about the place that charmingly preserved some of its original bookshop furniture. I could finally visit it with some friends last August. We chose the degustation menu which included a set of starters (fried fish, mushrooms, fresh cottage cheese with pumpkinh marmelade, patê, olives,...)and two dishes: octopus rice and pork with sauteed veggies and sweet potato mash. It was a feast of flavour!! Everyone tasted everything and rach one of us could repeat one of the things that had liked the most. We all loved it. We felt at home, and that feeling is priceless...

We were recommended this place by our B&B host. We were not disappointed. The food was some of the best we've had in Portugal or anywhere else for that matter! Our waiter was knowledgable, skilled and friendly. The food was amazing. The wine selection fantastic. Brilliant value for money. Nice chilled out atmosphere. We just wished the chef would up sticks and move to our neck of the woods! If you are visiting this charming town you must visit the wine bar you too will not be disappointed.
