Spent the last night in Badajoz eating Portuguese food with my Portuguese friend, and this proved to be an excellent place. Great food, great wines - try especially their bacalao dorado or their marisceu de mar. Okay service, but the food speaks for itself.

While driving between Cordova and Fatima on Dec 31st, we stopped at this place in Badajoz which none of us had ever heard of. Spain and Portugal has very good fish and seafood. This town's bar restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, had the best we had in a 10 day trip to the iberian peninsula. Great service, large portions, as fresh as I have ever seen fish. All locals.

Restaurante de comida tÃpica portuguesa regentado por portugueses. Cocina de escándalo y buen servicio. Nada que envidiar a restaurantes de Portugal. El arroz te lo pueden hacer en el momento, aunque tarda un poco, pero si picas algo mientras, no es tanta la espera y merece la pena. RiquÃsimo! Sin duda, lugar al que vamos a volver con frecuencia

No he visto jamás un asador de pollos más limpio en mi vida. Parece que entras en un quirófano. Los pollos al carbón muy buenos, te ofrecen dos salsas, normal o picante. Las brochetas de carne un poco secas, las salchichas muy sabrosas.Recomendable.
