This is a large restaurant, located in a nice historical building. It is famous for its chicken barbecue (made with a special breed of small chicken, also known as "franguinho da Guia") and other chicken recipes. The chicken barbecue does not disappoint, and other options are also good, but overall I feel this place is no longer worth the travel and the relatively expensive prices it charges. A few decades ago very few places had this type of chicken barbecue, but nowadays there are plenty of equally tasty but less expensive alternatives. Service is professional and efficient, but not remarkably friendly.
The chickenburger was 10 of 10. Very simple and tasted really good. Great service aswell. Thank you! (:Dear Amnah W,Thank you for the 5* review. We appreciate your comment and hope you have a chance to visit us again in your future travels.Cheers,KarrankaTeam

Founded in 1947, Rei dos Leitões is a traditional and stylish restaurant where you can enjoy the finest roasted piglet and choose from a wide selection of vintage or modern wines.
It was my very first visit to this restaurant, but I was in company with my friends those know this place very well! It was absolutely unexpected to me to find in such a countryside so brilliant Fine Dinning restaurant! The enormous Wine Card, delicious food and very exquisite service - are the genuine goals of this place! Their speciality is the sucking-pig roasted in special oven at very high temperature, what makes it extremely tender and crunchy! But besides traditional pork they offer as well the excellent fish and seafood!By request, if you are interested in, the stuff may arrange a brief excursion around the facilities! So, next time when youâll be in the way by car on A1 between Porto and Lisbon, donât miss this restaurant! It is really the MUST where to eat! Enjoy! 936200714

After a customer meeting nothing like asking a local friend where to lunch. He couldnât give a better tip.The place is very nice, elegant/fancy the staff is very polite and always checking if everything is as expected. The food....well.....butter like veal.....and a very nice price for the meal.If you are near.....go there with the assurance of getting a great service.

In the center of Anadia, we found a beautiful modern building, with a spacious terras. Domus is a nice place for lunch, friendly staff, helpful in English. We had the day menu and tapas. Good desserts too. Tasty bottle of Anadia in the capital of Espumante.Perfect lunch with my family!

Just been to this restaurant with family and had a fantastic experience. The chef showed us into the kitchen so we could see the beautiful fish and shellfish and then made dinner based on what we liked and, very happily on various allergies! All of the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and you could see the chef has a real passion for the ingredients. I really don't have a negative thing to say and would definitely come back, the meal was also very reasonably priced

went back to Nova Casa dos Leitoes after some time due to TripAdvisor ratings and afterwards really mixed feelings. Why? Service was competent and friendly; suckling pig was average but good when compared to other local restaurants; the price was really high (2 adults + 3 kids with house wine and 4 deserts - â¬100, which is too expensive for Portuguese standards). To think twice before coming back.

Our family took us here for lunch while we were visiting Portugal. We really enjoyed the cuttlefish, chicken, and shrimp on rice dish. Great flavour in the sauce poured ontop. The owner came out to meet us, and he was very friendly. Seemed busy enough for lunchtime.

Restaurant integrated in a wine producer farm. Very beautiful building and good ambiance. The food is very well made and is harmonized with the regular wines produced in the farm. Sympathetic and professional employeesVery good value for the price, for the daily dishes.Exists degustation menus harmonized with pricy wines.

Found this little gem of a place on the recommendation of a friend, at first glance did'nt think much of it ( not much kirb appeal ) but thought looks ar'nt everything we decided to give it a try. Upon entering we were very surprised looked very upmarket for the area. the owner himself showed us to a table very pleasant and helpful gentleman, he translated the menu for us, we decided to have 1 chicken and 3 steak's but on his advice my husband and I had just 1 steak between us ( not many people would suggest that ) when our meals came they were delicious the best steaks we have ever had in Portugal and yes he was right 1 steak between us was by far enough My friend's chicken was just as good. On the hole a very plesent evening good food good wine and a very nice atmosphere and the bill was very good on the wallet. I would strongly recommend you give this a try if in Moita we will be back again next year for sure.
