Inside the village of Pego a friendly house, where you can taste the food from the área close to the river Tejo, with small fish friden and house made bread, not speaking about cod fish and migas.

Restaurant Traditional Portuguese food, we also have to take away service. On weekdays we will have lunch time buffet service. We also serve various snacks.
Called for a meal as a taxi into Abrantes became too difficult. Warmly welcomed into the restaurant and the staff couldn't do enough to please me all evening. Food was delicious, the local wine was excellent. Try the Casal da Coelheira reserva, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend and will be going again soon I hopeThank You very much And I Hope To see You gain soon In our Restaurant.Best RegardsPedro Fernandes

The restaurantâs location is very agreeable- surrounded by pine woods, playgrounds and quite a few areas for walking. The self-service has a good variety and the foodâs quality is good (considering that is a self-service). The staff is friendly and the ratio price/quality could hardly be better. Enjoy!Dear Vitor,Thank you so much for your kind words! We hope to see you soon!Kind regards,By Trincanela Team

We were driving through town and this restaurant was suggested by local. It was exactly what we were looking for.Even though the menus were only in Portuguese, we were able to get our meetings across and had a wonderful meal. Although we just ordered âbeefâ, âporkâ and âlambâ, each dish came out and was incredible. We also had the house wine which was light and delightful.Obrigado e volte sempre.

The Cascata is a Tradicional Portuguese food restaurant where we celebrate the 50's of may parents' mariage. There are three different rooms which correspond to three types of service: the ground flour restaurant for lower price faster service food, the room for weddings and the 1st floor restaurant where we had the lunch. The decoration is classic/tradicional with the originallity of the painted glass tiles The waiter is very kind and the service is swift. We had Duck Rice, Maranhos, grilled meet, and codfish. The presentation is regular to good depending on the type of food we choose. The quantity and quality is very good considering one dish per person. The prices are fair (about 19⬠per person with wine and desserts)We loved the Migas with cabbage (outstanding) and the redfruits cheesecake (very good).Overall is almost an "Excellent" place.Agradecemos o seu comentário tão positivo! à uma honra para nós saber que continuamos a agradar e a surpreender os nossos clientes! Obrigada pela sua visita e esperamos recebe-lo em breve!Atentamente,Carla Martins

Having dined here on a regular basis must say this restaurant is well worth a visit. The menu is varied with several unusual dishes and not just the usual Portuguese fare. If possible a window table as the views are terrific. Dishes not to miss are the fish with tomatoe risotto which is really different. The risotto with prawns is a must and the duck confit was exceptional. A good choice of wines at reasonable prices . The staff very friendly and helpful and altogether a good night out.Thank you for your positive comment and opinion. It is an honor for us to have your review about our restaurant Sabores da Cascata. We hope to see you soon.Best regards,

This is billed as Abrantes' top restaurant and both service and ambience live up to expectations. Our dinner, however, was a game of two halves. Their signature dish - breaded squid fillets accompanied by a dish of rice and beans - was superb. The grilled black pork, however, was dry and the accompanying chips were soggy and greasy. Dinner for two with wine, but without dessert, came to around â¬55.
