Stopped at about 10am as I could not eat my hotel breakfast due to nut contamination. On way to Hanalei Bay. Ordered a plate to go with rice, macaroni salad, poke and fried chicken. Almost cried at how delicious it was. Every bite. Who knew macaroni salad could taste like that. Freshest poke, amazing fried chicken. And the price... wow. So reasonable.

We only went for the show as the luau is not particularly vegatarian friendly, but the show is spectacular. This was our second time and we enjoyed it as much or more than the first time. Very well done.

Smiths Tropical Paradise is a lovely gardens that is very reasonable at six dollars for adults and three dollars for children. We enjoyed the plants from around the world. We also got a kick feeding the birds with the bird seed they sell. They would land on your arm and feed from your hand. My son enjoyed picking up the baby chicks.
