You have a big choice of really great pizzas and pasta. I strongly reccomend carbonara. The prices are reasonable.

Get to know the most sensual place on the map of Elblag culinary experiences. It is a completely new form and vision of how we can experience eating using our senses...
Found this restaurant by chance whilst boating on the Elblag Canal in Poland. Five of us and we had the most wonderful meal at an incredible price (by UK standards). Two courses plus lots of drinks cost us about £90. The equivalent meal (if it could be found) in the UK would be about £250. Everything was just amazing - the staff, the ambience etc. etc.

We went here twice during our week in Elblag (we did not go anywhere else twice as Poland is not Paris or Rome when it comes to dining out). The service was friendly (restaurant service is not the same in Poland as it is in the US) and spoke passable English and they had an English Menu (which is not the norm). The Pizzas were good but this was not Chicago or New York. I had a salad one night and it was quite good. Fresh ingredients and not buried in dressing. All food in Elblag is very reasonably priced (and probably should be).

We decided to visit Duchowka on the last day of our holiday. On this occasion we didn't order any food and visited for a couple of drinks. The staff are incredibly friendly and the drinks/cocktails were made just perfect! The restaurant has a very homely and welcoming feel to it.We left wishing we had ordered food as I'm sure we would not have been disappointed. Will certainly be visiting again upon our next visit later this year!Good work guys!

Went there for lunch while passing through ElblÄ g. Went there because of TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Later talked to some ElblÄ g friends and found more about the place and context.1. For long time this place was "mummified" in some post socialist form. Recently it started to evolve. If you read this -- keep on going!2. Chef is promising -- though the boletus mushroom in bread needs something to make the souse a bit lighter and, for sure, some pepper would be in place. Steak tartar was a touch salty -- some leeway should be left to the eater. Nevertheless, these dishes were very good.Boletus mushroom soup -- FANTASTIC!andSteak (filet of beef) -- 30 seconds from perfection! I like it medium rare. If it was taken from the pan 30 seconds earlier, it would be an ecstasy on the plate. It was still, very good, but... 30 SECONDS matter! ;-)4. Vine selection is... not a selection... it is just one brand of vine in multiple colors... brand not bad, but... with the food they serve, it is necessary to have more vine...5. Elblag people do not go to restaurants too often and/or they do not appreciate fancy food this much and/or few people who do not appreciate good food (just want to drink) can spoil the evening. So, this place has long way up hil in front of it, but... If I go back to Elblag, Pod Kogutem will be on top of my list of places to visit -- definitely. Maybe then they will make one more step towards perfection.

Restaurant "Przy Bramie" is located in tge middle of the town. It is located underneath the ground which makes it nice & cosy. We decided to eat there because I was amazed with others comments. And we weren't dissapointed. My boys ordered chicken nuggets with chips and everything was made to order. Absolutely delicious. They ate it all.I ordered duck leg and it was soo good. And I mean it!! My husband ordered beef and he was also happy with his choice. The only one down thing was neutral waitress who never said "hallo", asked "how was our meal" etc.It is though worth visiting and dining there.

One day the food was good (wild mushroom soup) the second day the food was OK (pierogi). We ordered apple pie for dessert and it was really bad. The apples were canned and the cake was not good. It is a shame for Poland a country that used to have the best food in the area including desserts. Entry in the EU has lowered the quality of the food considerably. This is very sad. Do not recommend this restaurant even if you are a hotel guest.

We came here 8 persons to have dinner. The service were great and the food really tasty. We had some waiting time for the food, but the waiter offered free drinks because of this. I even got a free beer glas. I am collecting different ones. I recommend to come here!

If you want not only to fill your stomach but have a pleasure just go to this restaurant. Unusual drinks based on beer and great meal will give you real delight. I ordered salmon with orange and black rice and I wish I had 2 stomachs. Beer sangria was great too. Would go there again.
