Pino's is nothing more than a decent sport bar with friendly staff and good cocktails in Wuppertal city centre. It's not cosy and it's not particularly trendy. It's got big screens to watch football if you are into this sort of things. It's got outside tables giving on the pedestrianised street, which is nice on a sunny day. But the pizza is one of the best in Wuppertal! Seriously! Fresh ingredients: proper mozzarella, proper italian sausage (the 'fennel' one), lovely fried aubergines... that was really really good. My advice would be not to go for the stuffed crust ones (although the toppings on those looked the most interesting, I'm sure you can ask for the equivalent without the cheesy crust). It is simply too much. You can have a large one to share (3 people I would say, or 2 hungry ones). Just give it a try, I think you might be pleasantly surprised!

While visiting this town with friends I was lucky enough to discover this authentic Italian style restaurant and need I say more that they completely delivered beyond my expectations. The salmon pizza is by far the best I have had to date and the service was extremely friendly which is hard to come across in Germany. Being a waiter and working in the industry I can honestly say that I cannot wait to return to this place to continue to try the menu and I truly enjoyed my dining experience. Well done and see you soon Haus Mallack :)

In Wuppertal for a day trip, found this place which is in the main shopping district. Great value at less than 50Euro for two for a shared bruschetta starter followed by an enormous pizza and panzerotti pasta with spinach, a couple of glasses if Italian wine and two beers. Lovely warm friendly waiting staff added to a great lunch in a charming city. Grazie mille, dear Brian! We are overwhelmed by so much praise to our restaurant! <3 We are passionate hosts and want every guest to feel that he is part of our big La Famiglia. It is nice to see that we could inspire you with our kind and our food and have found with you a lover of the best best pizza. Nice that you were there.Cordiali salutiYour L'Osteria team
I feel sorry having to write a poor review, as this is mainly due to my very different expectations of the restaurant... But why on earth do you call yourself Pizzeria Veneziana, when you are a friendly greek Imbiss, run by an extremely friendly greek family? Call the place Pizzeria Mykonos and no italian in his right mind would expect anything like italian pizza... I must say the greek starters (Pikilia) were pretty good and extremely filling, why not stick to what you know best? Followed 2 pizzas: one Diavolo and one Spezial (with tuna, peppers, artichokes, and more...) The first impression was: 'There is water on my pizza!', which was confirmed by cutting through it and seeing the dow floating in colourless liquid. My best guess is that the oven wasn't hot enough, therefore onions and the jalapeno peppers resulted 'steamed' and lost a lot of water. The base was thick and very soggy, the toppings were tasty but with far too much cheese. The service was friendly and welcoming, the freshly renovated rooms gave a clean and sleek impression: an upclass Imbiss, but please expect Imbiss food and you won't be disappointed.
