We like to stop before or after a day on the Torch Lake. Good place to get snacks and ice cream. They also have a little gift store with shirts and such. They also have gas which is convenient and pontoon rentals. Most of the employees are very nice except for the owner himself, I've seen him a few times be really rude to customers (reason for 3 instead of 5 star rating)

The Torch Riviera is a historic dining establishment located at the south end of beautiful Torch Lake in Rapid City, MI. The building was constructed in 1936 and has borne a variety of identities, including a grocery store, gas station, dance hall, Chines
Enjoyed the planked whitefish dinner, but the highlight was the puree of parsnip soup du jour: full of vegetables and great texture, not full of cream. The smashed potatoes and side Caesar salad were also great. Service very good, Will definitely return and try the blackened whitefish next time. Good value and portion sizes--took some home for another meal.

Microbrewery on site
We dined here two years ago when we were in Traverse City. It was so good we decided to revisit it on our vacation last month. The pizza is delicous and the Caesar Salad was to die for. We are not drinkers so we did not try the craft beers and the varied wine selection but the other diners looked happy. They have some unique ice cream bars and we enjoyed two of the mini bars for dessert. This place is very casual. You wait on yourself but service is quick.
GJ's has been putting out excellent pizzas & subs for decades! I usually prefer a thicker crust & theirs is thin, but I love GJ's because it has great flavor. The sauce has great flavor, lots of toppings & we love that it's cut in squares. Subs are big, baked & delish! It's located inside a full-service party store just off US-31 on Holiday Hills Rd at Five Mile, convenient for stocking up on beverages or whatever. Only a block from the TART Trail and if you want to picnic, it's only a couple blocks from a small park on the Bay (Gens Park) just west of Holiday Hills Rd on US-31.

This is a fun place to eat, with the best ice cream in Traverse City (Moomers!) and awesome pizza. The restaurant is fun and quirky, with great views of the bay (sunset was lovely) and a nice play structure acrosse the parking lot.

Sometimes there's nothing better than kicking back with friends and family, a slice of pizza and a cold beer in hand. At Peegeo's, we've been creating just that type of feeling for Traverse City locals and visitors alike since 1983. A family business thro

I know most people love "Bayview Inn Bar & Grill" because it's a great gathering placebut I wasn't impressed with their pizza. My boyfriend and I ordered pizza as a take out last night and although they were generous with the cheese topping there was absolutely no sauce on the pizza. The crust was tasteless too. In fact I had a bad reaction to the pizza and still have stomach cramps. I would never get a pizza here again. One of the weirdest tasting pizza's I ever had.

A very tasty place . I enjoyed the place cause they gave you a choice of sauces which made it fantastic that you can choose. They also had a choice of wheat bread for the pizza which was a plus. You also have the option for them to make it and you can take home to cook . Definitely recommend this place

This place had amazing pizza and a huge delicious antipasto salad. My husband and daughter got pizza and she ate her entire personal pizza...he devoured an entire 10â. I got an antipasto salad and it was huge with lots of peppers, olives, and tomatoes.
